Definitions
- the present invention relates to an aqueous liquid fragrance composition having a reduced amount of surfactant used to solubilize perfume in water, and more particularly, by using a reduced amount of surfactant.
- the present invention relates to an aqueous liquid fragrance composition that can stably maintain good volatility while maintaining transparency of the composition.
- the present invention also relates to an aqueous liquid fragrance comprising an aqueous liquid fragrance composition housed in a wicking-type fragrance device.
- Fragrances containing fragrances are widely used to reduce discomfort associated with odors in living spaces such as rooms, entrances, toilets, and cars, and to impart fragrances.
- various forms such as liquid, gel, solid and aerosol are known.
- the liquid type can be broadly classified into aqueous, alcoholic and oil-soluble, and is used together with a spray type or wicking type fragrance device.
- Aqueous liquid fragrance compositions are widely used because of their low flammability and cost advantages. Since many fragrances are sparingly soluble in water, it is necessary to solubilize the fragrance using a surfactant in an aqueous liquid fragrance composition. However, since the surfactant is non-volatile, if the amount of the surfactant is increased, the surfactant accumulates in the fragrance device during use, and the emission of the fragrance is suppressed. Adversely affects sustainability.
- Patent Document 1 Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2009-261929
- i) an aqueous liquid fragrance composition containing a fragrance, a surfactant, and an aqueous solvent is used by utilizing ultrasonic treatment and / or high-pressure emulsification treatment.
- a method of nanoemulsification ii) a method of preparing a concentrated solution containing a fragrance, a surfactant and an aqueous solvent, and then mixing the dissolved solution with an aqueous solvent; or iii) the above i) and ii).
- the amount of surfactant can be reduced by a combined method.
- the methods i) and iii) require a special machine when producing the fragrance composition, and thus have a problem in cost and versatility required for production equipment.
- Patent Document 2 Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2007-130083 proposes a method in which an aqueous liquid fragrance composition contains metal ions such as silver, zinc, copper, aluminum, iron, nickel, tin and lead.
- metal ions are added for the purpose of imparting a deodorizing effect and an antibacterial effect to an aqueous liquid fragrance composition.
- the preferable amount of metal ions is about 0.01 ppm to 60 ppm, and since the content is too small, the effect of reducing the amount of the surfactant cannot be expected.
