Abstract
A method and a device (20) for controlling a brake (4) of a vehicle (10) are described. A condition of the vehicle (10) is detected, which condition is indicative of an automatic control of the brake (4) to increase the braking effect of the brake (4). In addition, cornering of the vehicle (10) is detected. When the condition of the vehicle is detected, the brake (4) of the vehicle (10) is automatically controlled depending on whether cornering is detected or not.
