Abstract

The method involves determining a maximum speed allowed for passing a danger zone (2) based on a topology of the danger zone. A minimum speed for passing the danger zone is determined based on the topology of the danger zone and/or a detected origin of danger. A target-speed adapted to the danger zone is determined under consideration of the minimum speed before reaching the danger zone. An opening of a viewing angle is considered during determination of the minimum speed.
