Abstract

The invention relates to medicine, and specifically to laser medicine. Intravenous treatment of the blood is carried out with laser light having a wavelength in one of the spectral ranges of 620-650, 1050-1080 or 1240-1280 nm at a power output of 0.5-40 mW. The lasers are used in a pulsed-intermittent or continuous mode, and the duration of the irradiation is determined in accordance with the radiation power output and spectral efficiency of the light and oxygen effect. The course of treatment amounts to 8-15 procedures lasting 15-60 minutes at an interval of 2-3 days. Furthermore, the administration of traditional photosensitizing dyes is eliminated. The use of the invention ensures deep penetration of singlet oxygen into a mass of tumorous tissue and cessation of tumorous growth of tissues, prevents cosmetic imperfection and post-operative complications owing to the rapid healing of the affected area, and reduces injury caused by the method and the number of relapses.
