- CIELab International Lighting Commission (Commission Internationale ⁇ de l'Eclairage) L * a * b * color space (hereinafter “CIELab”) described in Special Table 2008-507385 You may comprise.
- CIELab is a mathematical tristimulus color scale based on the CIE 1976 standard. CIELab makes it possible to describe colors quantitatively and accurately. CIELab allows colors to be plotted in a three-dimensional space similar to Cartesian xyz space. CIELab is originally an x-axis and has colors from green to red in Cartesian coordinate xyz space. CIELab considers this axis as the a-axis.
- a negative a * value represents green and a positive a * value represents red.
- CIELab is originally a y-axis and has colors from blue to yellow in Cartesian coordinate xyz space. CIELab considers this axis as the b-axis. Negative b * values represent blue, and positive b * values represent yellow.
- CIELab is originally z axis in the Cartesian xyz space and has lightness. CIELab considers this axis as the L axis. The L * axis ranges from 100 to 0, where 100 is white and 0 is black. An L * value of 50 represents an intermediate gray (provided that a * and b * are 0). Any color may be plotted in CIELab according to the three values (L *, a *, b *).
- 3D CIELab makes it possible to calculate three color components: saturation, hue, and brightness.
- saturation In a two-dimensional space formed from the a-axis and b-axis, the hue and saturation components can be determined.
- Saturation is the relative saturation of the perceived color and is determined by the distance from the origin when measured in the a * b * plane.
- a color having an a * b * value (10, 0) exhibits a lower saturation than a color having an a * b * value (20, 0).
- the later color is qualitatively perceived as red than the previous color.
- Hue is the relative red, yellow, green, and blue of a particular color.
- a radius can be created from the origin to any color in a two-dimensional a * b * space.
- Hue is the angle measured from 0 ° (positive a * axis) to the created radius.
- the hue can be any value from 0 ° to 360 °.
- the brightness is determined from the value of L *, with higher values being whiter and lower values being blacker.
- the color difference ⁇ E which is a color difference, can be obtained based on the following equation, for example.
- ⁇ E (( ⁇ L *) square + ( ⁇ a *) square + ( ⁇ b *) square) 1/2 power.
- L is lightness
- a * is the coordinate of the red-green axis
- b * is the coordinate of the yellow-blue axis.
- the color difference can be measured by, for example, the following method. Specifically, first, white L * a * b *, which is a reference color, is measured using a color difference measuring device (for example, a CR-300 manufactured by Konica Minolta).
- a C light source (a standard of the International Commission on Illumination (CIE)) is used as a light source of a measuring instrument.
- the diameter of the measurement window of the measuring instrument is 10 mm.
- a white reference plate (Y92.0 x0.3145 y0.3198) was used as a reference color when measuring the color difference.
- Y is a value indicating brightness
- x and y are plane coordinates of chromaticity.
- the measured value (L * a * b *) measured is set as the reference color.
- a sample packaging sheet color difference measurement target
- L * a * b * of the color to be measured is measured.
- the color difference of the measuring object with respect to the reference color can be calculated. If the color part of the sample to be measured is smaller than the measurement window of the measuring instrument, prepare a cut-out part of the predetermined part in advance and arrange it on the white reference plate so that there is no gap or overlap. To do.
- the color difference ⁇ E between the first color and the second color is preferably larger in order to improve the identification of the display element, and specifically, it is desirably 1 or more.
- the color difference between the first color and the second color is 1 or more, the user can generally identify the first color and the second color.
- the color difference ⁇ E between the first color and the second color is 10 or more.
- the color difference between the first color and the second color is 10 or more, the user can more clearly identify the first color and the second color, and the first color and the second color can be distinguished from each other. Display elements can be expressed more three-dimensionally by combination.
- the complementary color relationship in the present embodiment refers to a color whose hue is in the range of 180 ⁇ 45 degrees.
- the range of ⁇ 15 degrees tends to be darker when colors are superimposed. Specifically, for example, there are combinations such as green for red, orange for blue, and purple for yellow.
- the area of the overlapping region A4 is desirably 1% to 50% with respect to the area of the second colored region A2.
- the outline of the display element can be made to stand out and a stereoscopic effect can be clearly obtained.
- the area of the overlapping region A4 is 10% to 33% with respect to the area of the second coloring region A2.
- the area of the non-colored region A3 is desirably 1% to 50% with respect to the area of the second colored region A2.
- the non-colored region A3 is 10% to 33% with respect to the area of the second colored region A2.
- the second color is arranged on the first color. At least the second color of the first color and the second color is configured to have light transmittance. Since the second color has light transparency, when the first color and the second color overlap, it can appear as if the second color and the first color of the lower layer are mixed. The lightness of the second color is configured to be lower than the lightness of the first color. Since the brightness of the second color is configured to be low, when the first color and the second color are overlapped, the second color and the first color of the lower layer can be easily seen.
- the packaging sheet 70 can be colored according to various known coloring techniques. Coloring includes, but is not limited to printing, coating, and impregnation. Examples of the printing method include letterpress printing, flexographic printing, gravure printing, offset printing, screen, and inkjet, but are not limited thereto.
- the absorbent article 1 and the packaging sheet 70 are configured to be folded with the surface sheet 10 of the absorbent article 1 inward at a predetermined folding position along the width direction W and the longitudinal direction L.
- the packaging sheet 70 is folded via two longitudinal folds FL1 and FL2 along the longitudinal direction L, and is folded via width folds FW1 and FW2 along the width direction W.
- the longitudinal fold and the width fold are indicated by a one-dot chain line in FIGS.
- one end portion in the longitudinal direction L of the packaging sheet 70 is adhered to the packaging sheet 70.
- the edge part of the packaging sheet 70 is stuck to a part of the packaging sheet 70 by the adhesive tape 75.
- the material for forming the adhesive tape 75 is a single layer film such as a polypropylene film or a polyethylene film, or a multilayer film in which a plurality of types of resin films are laminated.
- FIG. 6 is a perspective view schematically showing a folding process of the package 100 of the absorbent article.
