Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Leuchtdiodenanordnung (10) mit wenigstens einer Leuchtdiode (14), welche auf einer Leiterplatte (12) angeordnet ist. Eine Austrittsrichtung (16) von im Betrieb der wenigstens einen Leuchtdiode (14) von dieser ausgehender Strahlung fällt hierbei mit einer von einer Dicke der Leiterplatte (12) verschiedenen Erstreckungsrichtung der Leiterplatte (12) zusammen. Die wenigstens eine Leuchtdiode (14) und/oder die Leiterplatte (12) sind zumindest bereichsweise in wenigstens ein Schutzmaterial (18, 20) eingebettet. Hierbei umfasst die Leuchtdiodenanordnung (10) ein das Austreten der Strahlung aus der Leuchtdiodenanordnung (10) zulassendes Profilteil (22), welches das wenigstens eine Schutzmaterial (18, 20) zumindest bereichsweise umgibt. Des Weiteren betrifft die Erfindung ein Verfahren zum Herstellen einer Leuchtdiodenanordnung (10).
