Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren sowie eine Vorrichtung zur Gewinnung eines ersten (13), im Wesentlichen aus Wasserstoff bestehenden, und eines zweiten (12), Wasserstoff und Kohlenmonoxid enthaltenden Gasproduktes, wobei ein durch Partielle Oxidation (POX) aus einem Kohle und/oder Schweröl enthaltenden Einsatz (3) erzeugtes Synthesegas (4) durch Konvertierung (S), anschließende Trocknung und die Entfernung von Sauergasen (A) in ein wasserstoffreiches Gasgemisch (6) umgesetzt wird, das in eine Produktreinheit aufweisende Wasserstofffraktion (7) sowie ein Wasserstoff und Kohlenmonoxid enthaltendes Restgas (8) zerlegt wird. Erfindungsgemäß wird zumindest ein Teil (10) des Wasserstoff und Kohlenmonoxid enthaltenden Restgases (8) zur Gewinnung des zweiten, Wasserstoff und Kohlenmonoxid enthaltenden Gasprodukts (12) verwendet.

Beschreibung
Verfahren zur Erzeugung von Gasprodukten aus Svnthesegas
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Gewinnung eines ersten, im Wesentlichen aus Wasserstoff bestehenden, und eines zweiten, Wasserstoff und Kohlenmonoxid enthaltenden Gasproduktes, wobei ein durch Partielle Oxidation aus einem Kohle und/oder Schweröl enthaltenden Einsatz erzeugtes Synthesegas durch Konvertierung, anschließende Trocknung und die Entfernung von Sauergasen in ein
wasserstoffreiches Gasgemisch umgesetzt wird, das in eine Produktreinheit aufweisende Wasserstofffraktion sowie ein Wasserstoff und Kohlenmonoxid enthaltendes Restgas zerlegt wird.
Weiterhin betrifft die Erfindung eine Vorrichtung zur Durchführung des Verfahrens.
Wasserstoff wird großtechnisch vorwiegend durch die Vergasung von Kohlenstoff enthaltenden Einsätzen hergestellt. Ein in der Industrie weit verbreitetes
Vergasungsverfahren ist die Partielle Oxidation (POX), mit der aus
Kohlenwasserstoffen - insbesondere aus höher siedenden Kohlenwasserstoffen - oder Kohle sog. Synthesegase erzeugt werden. Hierbei wird der im allgemeinen
vorgewärmte Einsatz in einer Reaktionskammer bei Temperaturen zwischen 1 300 und 1 500°C und Drücken bis zu 100 bar mit Wasserdampf und einem Oxidationsmittel zu einem Syntheserohgas umgesetzt, das zu großen Teilen aus Wasserstoff,
Kohlenmonoxid, Kohlendioxid und Wasser besteht. Die für die Reaktion erforderliche Wärme wird durch unvollständige (partielle) Oxidation der im Einsatz befindlichen Kohlenwasserstoffe erzeugt, wozu der Reaktionskammer Sauerstoff in einer Menge zugeführt wird, die für eine vollständige Umsetzung der Einsatzstoffe nicht ausreicht.
Um die Wasserstoffmenge zu erhöhen, wird das Synthesegas einer Konvertierung unterzogen, bei der Kohlenmonoxid katalytisch unterstützt mit Wasser zu Kohlendioxid und Wasserstoff umgesetzt wird. Im Anschluss an die Konvertierung werden
Kohlendioxid und andere Sauergase beispielsweise in einer Methanolwäsche aus dem konvertierten Gas abgetrennt, so dass ein wasserstoffreiches Gasgemisch erhalten wird, das allerdings nicht die für ein Wasserstoffprodukt erforderliche Reinheit von mehr als 99Vol.-% aufweist. Das wasserstoffreiche Gasgemisch wird daher nach dem
Stand der Technik z. B. einer kryogenen Gaszerlegungseinrichtung zugeführt, in der ein für viele Anwendungen ausreichend reines Wasserstoffprodukt sowie ein wasserstoffarmes Restgas erzeugt werden. Häufig soll neben dem Wasserstoffprodukt auch noch ein sog. Oxogas als Produkt erzeugt werden, bei dem es sich um ein Gemisch aus Wasserstoff, Kohlenmonoxid und evtl. Kohlendioxid mit definierter Zusammensetzung handelt. Ein Beispiel für ein Oxogas ist Methanol-Synthesegas, das aus Wasserstoff (H2), Kohlenmonoxid (CO) und Kohlendioxid (C02) besteht, wobei seine Stöchiometriezahl S, die sich aus den molaren Konzentrationen [H2], [CO] und [C02] seiner Bestandteile gemäß S = ([H2]- [C02])/([CO] + [C02]) errechnet, einen Wert von ca. 2 besitzt.
Nach dem Stand der Technik wird zur Oxogas-Erzeugung ein Teil des Synthesegases vor der Konvertierung abgezweigt und in einer gesonderten Behandlung getrocknet und, beispielsweise in einer physikalischen Gaswäsche, von Sauergasen befreit.
Gewöhnlich wird die Stöchiometriezahl S des so erhaltenen Gasgemisches einen Wert aufweisen, der kleiner ist als der für das Oxogas geforderte. Zur Einstellung von S wird daher Wasserstoff von der Produktreinheit aufweisenden Wasserstofffraktion abgezweigt und dem Gasgemisch zugeführt. Soll ein Kohlendioxid enthaltendes Oxogas erzeugt werden, wird Kohlendioxid im Zuge der Sauergasabtrennung nicht vollständig aus dem Synthesegas entfernt.
Die Einrichtungen, die für die Behandlung des für die Oxogas-Erzeugung
abgezweigten Teils des Synthesegases erforderlich sind, verursachen erhebliche Investitionskosten, deren Höhe umso stärker ins Gewicht fällt, je geringer die erzeugte Oxogasmenge im Vergleich zur Menge des Wasserstoff produkts ist. Übersteigt die Menge des Wasserstoffprodukts die Menge des Oxogases um mehr als das Vierfache, so kann das Verfahren erfahrungsgemäß nicht wirtschaftlich durchgeführt werden. Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung ist es daher, ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung der eingangs beschriebenen Art anzugeben, welche die Nachteile des Standes der Technik überwinden.
Die gestellte Aufgabe wird verfahrensseitig erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, dass zumindest ein Teil des Wasserstoff und Kohlenmonoxid enthaltenden Restgases zur
Gewinnung des zweiten, Wasserstoff und Kohlenmonoxid enthaltenden Gasproduktes verwendet wird.
Das Restgas enthält gewöhnlich sämtliche Bestandteile, die auch in dem zu
zerlegenden wasserstoffreichen Gasgemisch, von dem es abgetrennt wird, vorhanden sind; allerdings in einer anderen Zusammensetzung. Enthält das wasserstoffreiche Gasgemisch neben Wasserstoff auch Kohlenmonoxid und Kohlendioxid, so enthält auch das Restgas diese Stoffe, wobei jedoch der Wasserstoffgehalt drastisch reduziert und die Gehalte an Kohlemonoxid und Kohlendioxid deutlich erhöht sind. Ein solches Restgas kann bereits die Zusammensetzung eines wirtschaftlich verwertbaren
Oxogases aufweisen oder es kann, beispielsweise durch Abtrennung von Kohlendioxid und/oder Zumischung von Wasserstoff, zu einem Oxogas aufbereitet werden.
Eine Ausgestaltung des erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens sieht vor, dass zur Erzeugung des zweiten Gasprodukts Restgas mit einem Teil der Produktreinheit aufweisenden Wasserstofffraktion gemischt wird. Vorzugsweise handelt es sich bei dem zweiten Gasprodukt um ein Methanol-Synthesegas.
Weiterhin wird vorgeschlagen, die Konvertierung und/oder die Sauergasentfemung so auszuführen, dass ein wasserstoffreiches Gasgemisch mit einem definierten Gehalt an Kohlenmonoxid und/oder Kohlendioxid erzeugt wird. Auf diese Weise ist es möglich, die Zusammensetzung und die Menge des Restgases zu kontrollieren. Vorzugsweise wird die Zusammensetzung des wasserstoffreichen Gasgemisches so eingestellt, dass die Zusammensetzung des anfallenden Restgases derjenigen eines wirtschaftlich verwertbaren Oxogases entspricht. Die Konvertierung kann hierzu beispielsweise in zwei Schritten durchgeführt werden, wobei das Synthesegas im Anschluss an einen ersten Konvertierungsschritt in einen ersten und einen zweiten Teilstrom getrennt wird. Zur Verringerung der Kohlenmonoxidkonzentration wird der erste Teilstrom
anschließend in einem zweiten Schritt einer weiteren Konvertierung unterzogen, während der zweite Teilstrom mit dem im zweiten Konvertierungsschritt erhaltenen Gasgemisch schließlich zu einem teilkonvertierten Gasgemisch zusammengeführt wird. Die Größe der beiden Teilströme wird dabei so geregelt, dass das
Wasserstoff/Kohlenmonoxid-Verhältnis des teilkonvertierten Gasgemisches den Vorgaben entspricht.
Falls Kohlendioxid im zweiten, Wasserstoff und Kohlenmonoxid enthaltenden
Gasprodukt benötigt wird, kann in der Sauergasentfernung Kohlendioxid aus dem konvertierten Gasgemisch nur unvollständig und mit einem einstellbaren Trenngrad abgetrennt werden. Bevorzugt erfolgt die Sauergasentfernung durch eine physikalische Gaswäsche, in der besonders bevorzugt tiefkaltes Methanol als physikalisch wirkendes Waschmittel eingesetzt wird. Derartige Gaswäschen können mit einem sog. C02-Slip betrieben werden, wobei Kohlendioxid aus dem zu waschenden Gasgemisch weniger gründlich abgetrennt wird, als dies technisch möglich ist, und der Kohlendioxidgehalt des gewaschenen Gases auf einen vorbestimmten Wert eingestellt wird. Vorzugsweise wird das wasserstoffreiche, durch die Sauergasentfernung erhaltene Gasgemisch einer Druckwechseladsorption unterzogen, bei der eine Produktreinheit aufweisende Wasserstofffraktion abgetrennt und ein Wasserstoff enthaltenes Restgas erzeugt wird. Es ist jedoch auch möglich, das Gasgemisch in einem kryogenen Verfahren zu zerlegen. Zumindest eine Teilmenge der Wasserstofffraktion wird als erstes Gasprodukt an der Anlagengrenze abgegeben.
Weiterhin betrifft die Erfindung eine Vorrichtung zur Gewinnung eines ersten, im Wesentlichen aus Wasserstoff bestehenden, und eines zweiten, Wasserstoff und Kohlenmonoxid enthaltenden Gasproduktes, mit einer Vergasungseinrichtung, in der aus einem Kohle und/oder Schweröl enthaltenden Einsatz durch Partielle Oxidation ein Synthesegas erzeugt werden kann, einem Konvertierungsreaktor, in dem das
Synthesegas einer Konvertierung unterzogen werden kann, Einrichtungen zur
Abtrennung von Wasser und Sauergasen aus dem durch Konvertierung erhaltenen Gasgemisch, sowie einer Zerlegungseinrichtung, in der das durch Abtrennung von Wasser und Sauergasen erhaltene Gasgemisch in eine Produktreinheit aufweisende Wasserstofffraktion und ein Wasserstoff enthaltendes Restgas zerlegt werden kann.
Vorrichtungsseitig wird die gestellte Aufgabe dadurch gelöst, dass sie eine Einrichtung zur Behandlung des Restgases aufweist, in der aus dem Restgas das zweite,
Wasserstoff und Kohlenmonoxid enthaltenden Gasprodukt erzeugbar ist. Die Einrichtung zur Behandlung des Restgases kann beispielsweise eine
Abtrenneinrichtung umfassen, in der Bestandteile aus dem Restgas abgetrennt werden können. Bevorzugt weist sie eine Mischeinrichtung auf, in die Restgas einleitbar ist, und der ein Teil der Produktreinheit aufweisenden Wasserstofffraktion geregelt zugeführt werden kann.
Vorzugsweise umfasst die erfindungsgemäße Vorrichtung eine Konvertierungseinrichtung, in der ein Gasgemisch mit definiertem Kohlenmonoxidgehalt erzeugt werden kann. Beispielsweise umfasst die Konvertierungseinrichtung einen ersten und einen seriell zu diesem angeordneten zweiten Konvertierungsreaktor, wobei im ersten Konvertierungsreaktor das gesamte Synthesegas einer Konvertierung unterzogen werden kann, bei der ein erstes konvertiertes Gasgemisch entsteht. Dem ersten Konvertierungsreaktor ist eine Regeleinrichtung nachgeschaltet, in der das erste konvertierte Gasgemisch in einen ersten und einen zweiten Teilstrom zerlegbar ist. Während der erste Teilstrom dem zweiten Konvertierungsreaktor zuleitbar und dort in ein zweites konvertiertes Gasgemisch umsetzbar ist, kann der zweite Teilstrom über eine Bypass-Leitung am zweiten Konvertierungsreaktor vorbeigeführt und mit dem zweiten konvertierten Gasgemisch zu einem teilkonvertierten Gasgemisch vereinigt werden. Die Größen der beiden Teilströme können über die Regeleinrichtung so kontrolliert werden, dass das Wasserstoff/Kohlenmonoxid-Verhältnis des
teilkonvertierten Gasgemisches den Vorgaben entspricht.
Eine Ausgestaltung der erfindungsgemäßen Vorrichtung sieht eine Einrichtung zur Abtrennung von Sauergasen vor, die es erlaubt, den Grad der Kohlendioxid- Abtrennung einzustellen. Bevorzugt handelt es sich bei der Einrichtung zur Abtrennung von Sauergasen um eine physikalische Gaswäsche, in der besonders bevorzugt tiefkaltes Methanol als physikalisch wirkendes Waschmittel einsetzbar ist.
Die Zerlegungseinrichtung der erfindungsgemäßen Vorrichtung kann beispielsweise als kryogene Gaszerlegungseinrichtung ausgeführt sein. Vorzugsweise ist sie jedoch als Druckwechseladsorber ausgeführt.
Die Erfindung erlaubt es, neben einem Wasserst off produkt ohne oder nur mit geringem zusätzlichem Aufwand ein Oxogas als Produkt zu erzeugen. Mit besonderem Vorteil kann die Erfindung dann eingesetzt werden, wenn die geforderte Menge des
Wasserstoffproduktes wesentlich höher ist als diejenige des Oxogases.
Im Folgenden soll die Erfindung anhand eines in der Figur 1 schematisch dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiels näher erläutert werden.
Die Figur 1 zeigt eine Einrichtung zur Erzeugung eines Wasserstoffproduktes und eines Oxogases aus Kohle und/oder Schweröl.
Der Vergasungseinrichtung POX werden über Leitung 1 Sauerstoff, über Leitung 2 Wasserdampf und über Leitung 3 Kohle oder Schweröl oder ein Gemisch aus Kohle und Schweröl als Einsatzstoffe zugeführt. Im Reaktionsraum der
Vergasungseinrichtung POX werden die Einsatzstoffe durch Partielle Oxidation in ein Wasser, Wasserstoff sowie Kohlenmonoxid und Sauergase enthaltendes Synthesegas 4 umgesetzt. Das Synthesegas 4 wird dem Konvertierungsreaktor S zugeleitet, wo in einem zweistufigen Konvertierungsprozess eine kontrollierte Menge an Kohlenmonoxid mit Wasser zu Wasserstoff und Kohlendioxid abreagiert, so dass ein Strom 5 mit einem definierten Wasserstoff/Kohlenmonoxid-Verhältnis abgezogen werden kann. Zur Abtrennung von Wasser und Sauergasen wird der Strom 5 in die Sauergaswäsche A - bei der es sich beispielsweise um eine Methanolwäsche handelt - eingeleitet, in der ein Wasserstoff reiches, Kohlenmonoxid enthaltendes Gasgemisch 6 gewonnen wird. Das Gasgemisch 6 wird dem Druckwechseladsorber DWA zugeführt, in dem es adsorptiv in eine Produktreinheit aufweisende Wasserstofffraktion 7 sowie ein kohlenmonoxid- und wasserstoffhaltiges Restgas 8 getrennt wird, welches schon annähernd
Oxogaszusammensetzung aufweist. Über Leitung 9 wird ein kleiner Teil der
Wasserstofffraktion 7 abgezweigt und mengengeregelt mit dem im Verdichter P1 verdichteten Restgas 10 in die Mischeinrichtung M eingeleitet und zu dem
Produktzusammensetzung aufweisenden Oxogas 11 vereinigt. Nach einer Verdichtung P2 wird das Oxogas 11 , ebenso wie der verbleibende Rest 13 der Wasserstofffraktion 7, als Produkt 12 zur Anlagengrenze geführt.
Claims
1. Verfahren zur Gewinnung eines ersten (13), im Wesentlichen aus Wasserstoff bestehenden, und eines zweiten (12), Wasserstoff und Kohlenmonoxid
enthaltenden Gasproduktes, wobei ein durch Partielle Oxidation (POX) aus einem Kohle und/oder Schweröl enthaltenden Einsatz (3) erzeugtes Synthesegas (4) durch Konvertierung (S), anschließende Trocknung und die Entfernung von Sauergasen (A) in ein wasserstoffreiches Gasgemisch (6) umgesetzt wird, das in eine Produktreinheit aufweisende Wasserstofffraktion (7) sowie ein Wasserstoff und Kohlenmonoxid enthaltendes Restgas (8) zerlegt wird, dadurch
gekennzeichnet, dass zumindest ein Teil (10) des Wasserstoff und
Kohlenmonoxid enthaltenden Restgases (8) zur Gewinnung des zweiten,
Wasserstoff und Kohlenmonoxid enthaltenden Gasprodukts (12) verwendet wird.
2. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 , dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass zur Erzeugung des zweiten Gasprodukts (12) Restgas (8) mit einem Teil (9) der Produktreinheit aufweisenden Wasserstofffraktion (7) gemischt wird.
3. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass durch die Konvertierung (S) ein teilkonvertiertes Gasgemisch (5) mit einem definierten Wasserstoff/Kohlenmonoxid-Verhältnis erzeugt wird.
4. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass in der Sauergasentfernung (A) Kohlendioxid aus dem teilkonvertierten Gasgemisch
(5) nur unvollständig und mit einem einstellbaren Trenngrad abgetrennt wird.
5. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass eine Wasserstofffraktion (7) mit Produktreinheit durch Druckwechseladsorption aus dem wasserstoffreichen Gasgemisch (6) abgetrennt wird.
6. Vorrichtung zur Gewinnung eines ersten (12), im Wesentlichen aus Wasserstoff bestehenden, und eines zweiten (11), Wasserstoff und Kohlenmonoxid
enthaltenden Gasproduktes, mit einer Vergasungseinrichtung (POX), in der aus einem Kohle und/oder Schweröl enthaltenden Einsatz (3) durch Partielle Oxidation ein Synthesegas (4) erzeugt werden kann, einer Konvertierungseinrichtung (S), in der das Synthesegas einer Konvertierung unterzogen werden kann, einer
Einrichtung (A) zur Abtrennung von Wasser und Sauergasen aus dem durch Konvertierung erhaltenen Gasgemisch, sowie einer Zerlegungseinrichtung (DWA), in der das durch Abtrennung von Wasser und Sauergasen erhaltene Gasgemisch (6) in eine Produktreinheit aufweisende Wasserstofffraktion (7) und ein
Wasserstoff enthaltendes Restgas (8) zerlegt werden kann, dadurch
gekennzeichnet, dass sie eine Einrichtung zur Behandlung des Restgases (8) aufweist, in der aus dem Restgas (8) das zweite, Wasserstoff und Kohlenmonoxid enthaltenden Gasprodukt (12) erzeugbar ist.
7. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Einrichtung
(P1 ,M,P2) zur Behandlung des Restgases (8) eine Mischeinrichtung (M) aufweist, in die Restgas (10) einleitbar ist, und der ein Teil (9) der Produktreinheit aufweisenden Wasserstofffraktion (7) geregelt zugeführt werden kann.
8. Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 6 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Konvertierungseinrichtung (S) einen ersten und einen seriell zu diesem
angeordneten zweiten Konvertierungsreaktor sowie eine Bypass-Leitung mit einer Regeleinrichtung umfasst, über die ein Teil eines im ersten Konvertierungsreaktor erzeugbaren Gasgemisches kontrolliert am zweiten Konvertierungsreaktor vorbeigeführt und mit dem im zweiten Konvertierungsreaktor erzeugbaren
Gasgemisch zu einem teilkonvertierten Gasgemisch (5) mit definiertem
Wasserstoff/Kohlenmonoxid-Verhältnis vereinigt werden kann.
9. Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 6 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie eine Einrichtung zur Abtrennung von Sauergasen (A) umfasst, die es erlaubt, den Grad der Kohlendioxid-Abtrennung einzustellen.
10. Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 6 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Zerlegungseinrichtung (DWA) als Druckwechseladsorber ausgeführt ist.
