Abstract

Cette invention concerne un mélange-mère de polyester ayant de remarquables propriétés antimicrobiennes et son procédé de production, et plus spécifiquement, cette invention concerne un procédé impliquant la production d'un nanocomposite argent-silice et la production d'un mélange-mère de polyester le contenant. Un procédé de production d'un mélange-mère de polyester pour literie doué d'une performance antimicrobienne et désodorisante permanente et qui, plus particulièrement, peut être utilisé dans un tissu à poils ourdis en polyester ultrafin approprié est décrit. Dans la présente invention, le mélange-mère de polyester est produit par un procédé comprenant les étapes suivantes : soumettre des particules de silice à un traitement de surface ; produire un composite argent-silice par adsorption de particules d'argent sur la silice à surface traitée ; et mélanger le composite argent-silice avec le polyester.
