Un dispositif de source de lumière de surface (100) est pourvu d'une plaque de guidage de lumière à émission par la surface du type plaque (15) possédant une surface avant (15a), une surface arrière (15b) et une surface d'incidence de lumière (15c) et d'une première source de lumière (101) servant à émettre un premier faisceau lumineux (L12) ; la plaque de guidage de lumière à émission par la surface (15) possède une région de façonnage de répartition d'intensité angulaire (15e) en tant que première région servant à élargir la répartition d'intensité angulaire du premier faisceau lumineux tout en transmettant le premier faisceau lumineux qui est incident depuis la surface d'incidence de lumière (15c) et une seconde région (15f) servant à émettre, en tant que lumière plane depuis la surface avant (15a), le premier faisceau lumineux (L12) à répartition d'intensité angulaire élargie.
