Abstract

　発毛・育毛効果を向上させ、白髪改善効果を得ることのできる発毛・育毛剤を提供する。具体的には、有効成分として、ラン科シンビジウム属の植物の全草から得られる抽出物を含有することを特徴とする発毛・育毛剤であり、白髪改善効果を兼ね備えている。ラン科シンビジウム属の植物としてはグレートフラワー・マリーローランサンが特に有効である。抽出物の配合量は０．１～３０重量％、望ましくは１．０～２０重量％、特に好ましい配合量は５．０～１５重量％である。

Description

発毛・育毛剤
　本発明は、顕著な発毛、育毛効果と白髪改善効果を持ち、かつ、生体に副作用を起こすことのない発毛・育毛剤に関する。
　従来から発毛・育毛剤に関しては種々の研究・開発がなされており、ホルモン剤、血流促進剤、細胞活性化剤成分等を含む化学合成物質が提供されているが、その大部分は、発毛・育毛効果に優れていても副作用があるという問題点があった。また、白髪改善効果を期待し得るものは得られていない。
　本発明者は、発毛・育毛効果を達成するとともに安全性の向上を図るため、化学合成物の代わりに天然植物中に存在する有効成分を抽出した発毛・育毛剤を提案している。すなわち、特許文献１（特許第３５１３４７５号）において、有効成分として、ラン科シンビジウム属の植物であるグレートフラワー・マリーローランサンの偽球茎（バルブ）から得られる抽出エキスを含有することを特徴とする発毛・育毛剤を提案している。

　特許文献１記載の発毛・育毛剤によれば、天然植物中の成分を有効成分としているため安全性に優れているとともに、従来よりも飛躍的に発毛・育毛効果が改善された。ただ、その発毛・育毛効果が現れるまでには平均的に使用開始から約６カ月の期間が必要となり、従来と比べれば早くはなったが、更なる速効性を得るために、発毛・育毛効果の向上が望まれるところである。また、白髪改善効果、すなわち白髪を黒髪に戻すことができる発毛・育毛剤が得られれば使用者にとって望ましいところである。
　そこで、本発明は、上記に鑑み、更に発毛・育毛効果を向上させることのでき、かつ白髪改善効果を得ることができる発毛・育毛剤の提供を目的とする。
　本件発明者は上記目的を達成するため鋭意研究の結果、有効成分として、ラン科シンビジウム属の植物の偽球茎のみではなく、全草から得られる抽出物が発毛・育毛効果ならびに白髪改善効果に優れ、しかも速効性があるとの知見を得、本発明を完成するに至ったものである。
　シンビジウム属植物は主にアジアの温帯から熱帯地域に分布自生するラン科の単子葉植物であり、特徴的な偽球茎を有し、その種類は約７０種ある。またシンビジウム属植物は品種改良が行われ、種苗法のもとに品種登録されたものが多数存在する。自生種も含めて代表的なものは春蘭（cym.goeringii）、寒蘭（cym.kanran）、ホウサイラン、（cym.sinense）スルガラン（cym.ensifolium）、キンリョウヘン（cym.pumilum）、グレートフラワー・マリーローランサン(Cym.Great Flower ‘Marylaurencin’)、ローズワイン・新世紀(Cym Rose Wine‘Shinseiki’)、グレートフラワー・バレリーナ(Cym. Great Flower‘Ballerina’)、ラッキーフラワー・あんみつ姫（Cym. Lucky Flower ‘Anmitsuhime’）グレートキャティ・まりこ(Cym. GreatKaty ‘Mariko’)、ラッキーグロリア・あぐり(Cym. Lucky Gloria ‘Aguri’)ラッキーグロリア・福の神(Cym. Lucky Gloria ‘Fukunokami’)、シーサイド・サーヤ（Seaside‘Saya’）、サテンドール・ゴールデンイエロー（Cym. Satin Doll ‘Golden Yellow’）、グレートキャティ・リトルローランサン(Cym.Great Katy ‘Little Laurencin‘)、アンジェリコ・福娘（Angelico ‘Fukumusume’）等が知られている。自生種の中には、中国、東南アジア、オーストラリアなどで、薬用、食用として、用いられるものもある。
　このように、ラン科シンビジウム属の植物としては極めて多数存在し、限定されるものではないが、中でも、種苗法による品種登録名、グレートフラワー・マリーローランサン（品種登録第２８４１号）が、特に発毛・育毛効果や白髪改善効果に優れ、速効性があるので好ましい。
　ラン科シンビジウム属植物の抽出物は、抽出原料としてラン科シンビジウム属植物の全草から抽出したものであればよい。全草とは、花、葉、花茎、偽球茎、根などの地上部と地下部を合わせた植物の全ての部分を指称する。シンビジウム属の植物の開花時、特に見頃の開花時における全草を抽出原料とするのが好ましいが、開花時でなくてもよい。
　ラン科シンビジウム属植物の全草の抽出物の調整は、ラン科シンビジウム属植物の全草を、そのまま或いは適当な大きさに細断若しくは粉砕機で粉砕したものを圧搾する物理的抽出法、溶媒抽出法、真空蒸留抽出法のいずれも採用可能であり、それにより得られる各種溶媒抽出エキス、その希釈液、その濃縮液又はその乾燥末が抽出物となる。抽出溶媒としては、水、メタノール、エタノール、プロピレングリコール、１，３－ブチレングリコール、グリセリン、アセトン等の親水性の溶媒が挙げられ、これらを２種以上混合させて用いてもよい。また、調製される抽出物は液体でも固体でもよい。
　例えば、エタノール抽出法の場合、ラン科シンビジウム属植物の全草を、そのまま或いは適当な大きさに細断若しくは粉砕機で粉砕したものを、５０％エタノール水溶液に２：７（全草：５０％エタノール水溶液）の重量比で浸漬して、時々攪拌しながら抽出操作を行い、濾過により残渣を除去することにより、ラン科シンビジウム属植物の全草の抽出エキスを製造する方法を採用できる。また、熱水抽出法の場合、上記と同様にして得た粉砕物５ｇに、精製水１００ｍｌを加え、沸騰水浴上で約２時間加熱抽出した後、等量の９５％エタノールを加え、静置後、濾過により残渣を除去すれば、ラン科シンビジウム属植物の全草の抽出エキスを製造できる。なお、この方法に限定されるものではない。
　上記の抽出エキスはそのまま用いてもよいし、応用する形態にしたがって、抽出エキスを乾燥、濃縮、或いは希釈、他成分との混合など任意に調整した後に、発毛・育毛剤に用いてもよい。
　また、抽出エキスの発毛・育毛剤に対する配合量は、０．１～３０重量％、望ましくは１．０～２０重量％の範囲で配合するのが好ましい。抽出エキスの含有量が０．１重量％より少ない場合、また３０重量％を越えて配合した場合、いずれも好ましい発毛・育毛・白髪改善効果が得られなかった。特に好ましい配合量は５．０～１５重量％の配合量であり、最も優れた発毛・育毛・白髪改善効果を示した。
　このように、ラン科シンビジウム属の植物の全草から得られる抽出物は、発毛・育毛効果・白髪改善効果の作用効果を得る目的で配合して医薬品、医薬部外品又は化粧品とすることができる。
　本発明の発毛・育毛剤の投与形態としては外用剤が好ましく、軟膏、ローション、トニック、スプレー、懸濁液、乳剤等の塗布剤とするのが好ましい。より具体的な用途としては、例えば、養毛料、ヘアトニック、ヘアローション、ヘアクリーム、シャンプー、リンス、トリートメント、ヘアカラーなどの種々の形態として用いることができる。
　本発毛・育毛剤には、本発明の効果を損なわない範囲内であれば、保湿剤、界面活性剤、色素、香料、酵素類、ホルモン類、ビタミン類、紫外線吸収剤、紫外線遮剤、溶剤、安定剤、可塑剤、滑沢剤、可溶化剤、還元剤、緩衝剤、甘味剤、基剤、揮散補助剤、吸着剤、矯味剤、共力剤、結合剤、懸濁剤、抗酸化剤、光沢化剤、コーティング剤、湿潤剤、清涼化剤、軟化剤、乳化剤、賦形剤、防腐剤、保存剤などを通常の方法にしたがって添加して用いることができる。
　本発明によると、有効成分として、ラン科シンビジウム属の植物の全草から得られる抽出物を備えることにより、速効性に優れた発毛・育毛・白髪改善効果を備える発毛・育毛剤とすることができる。

　本発明者は、発毛・育毛効果を有する植物体抽出物について鋭意検討した。その結果、ラン科シンビジウム属の植物の偽球茎のみの抽出物ではなく、ラン科シンビジウム属の植物の全草から得られる抽出物を含有させた場合に、優れた発毛・育毛・白髪改善効果が得られることを見出した。本発毛・育毛剤は、今までにない速効性があり、１カ月程度の短期間のうちに高い発毛・育毛・白髪改善効果を発揮することが各種試験により確認された。したがって、ラン科シンビジウム属の植物の全草から得られる抽出物は、発毛・育毛剤、及び白髪改善剤の有効成分として用いることができる。
　＜ラン科シンビジウム属の植物の全草の抽出物の調製＞
　シンビジウム属植物であるグレートフラワー・マリーローランサン（品種登録第２８４１号）の開花時における全草を細断し、これを５０％エタノール水溶液に２：７（全草：５０％エタノール水溶液）の重量比で加えて漬け込み、室温下で１カ月間抽出する。そして、ろ過により残渣を取り除いてできたエタノール抽出エキスを、ラン科シンビジウム属の植物の全草の抽出物とした。
　＜処方例：ヘアトニック＞
　本処方例は、ヘアトニックの処方例であり、その組成は次のとおりである。

　なお、湿潤剤としては、限定されるものでないが、マルチトールなどの保湿作用ある糖質、ジオウエキス、シナノキエキス、海藻エキス、米抽出物加水分解液等が挙げられ、これらを単独又は組み合わせて配合することができる。湿潤剤には保湿作用があり、頭皮及び頭髪に適度の潤いを与えることができる。
　＜比較例：ヘアトニック＞
　まず、シンビジウム属植物であるグレートフラワー・マリーローランサン（品種登録第２８４１号）の開花時における偽球茎を細断し、これを５０％エタノール水溶液に２：７（全草：５０％エタノール水溶液）の重量比で加えて漬け込み、室温下で１カ月間抽出する。そして、ろ過により残渣を取り除いてできたエタノール抽出エキスを、ラン科シンビジウム属の植物の偽球茎の抽出物とした。この抽出物を用いて、比較例のヘアトニックを処方した。その組成は、上記処方例のヘアトニックの組成のうち、「ラン科シンビジウム属の植物の全草の抽出物　１０．５重量％」を「ラン科シンビジウム属の植物の偽球茎の抽出物　１０．５重量％」に変えた点だけが異なり、その他の組成は同じであるため、説明を省略する。
　以下、処方例（全草の抽出物）及び比較例（偽球茎のみの抽出物）それぞれの効果を確認するため、以下の試験を行った。
　＜試験例１＞
　男女２７名を被験者として、処方例で調製したヘアトニックを使用した感想を下記表１に示す。また、男女２０名を被験者として、比較例で調整したヘアトニックを使用した感想を表２に示す。試験方法としては、上記ヘアトニックを通常の使用態様で頭部に撒布・塗布し、よくマッサージし、これを毎日１～２回行うように指示した。

　以上の結果から明らかなとおり、ラン科シンビジウム属の植物の全草の抽出物を含有する処方例では、モニターが何らかの手ごたえを感じるまでの期間が１～２カ月と、従来と比べて格段に早く、ほぼ全モニターが発毛・育毛効果を得た。新しく生えてくる毛は産毛にとどまることなく、太い毛も生えてくるようになった。髪にコシやハリが出て、抜け毛も減った。
　また、ラン科シンビジウム属の植物の全草の抽出物を含有する処方例では、大きな白髪改善効果を感じるモニターも多いことが分かった。この白髪改善効果に関しては、そのメカニズムは不明であるが、新しく生えてくる根元部分から徐々に黒くなるというよりは、生えている髪が根元から徐々に黒くなるという感想が多く、短期間のうちに白髪が改善された。
　これに対し、ラン科シンビジウム属の植物の偽球茎の抽出物を含有する比較例では、発毛・育毛効果を感じることができるが、その効果を得るのに約半年の年月が必要となっていた。また、比較例では、白髪改善効果を感じるモニターは僅か２例であり、顕著な効果は得られていない。
　以上のように、本発明のシンビジウム属植物の全草抽出エキスを含有する発毛・育毛剤は、発毛・育毛効果及び白髪改善効果のいずれにおいても有効であることが確認された。
　＜試験例２＞
　次に、４０代から７０代の男性５名を被験者として、上記処方例で調整したヘアトニックを使用した場合の頭髪の変化を記録した写真を図１～図１０に示す。なお、試験方法は、ヘアトニックを通常の使用態様で頭部に撒布・塗布し、よくマッサージし、これを毎日１～２回行うように指示した。
　モニターＡは、処方例のヘアトニックを使用開始したのは２００９年１０月２５日であるが、その後、後頭部が黒くなってきていることに気づき、使用開始から４８日後の２００９年１２月１３日に写真撮影をしたのが図１の写真である。すなわち、約1月半の使用期間において白髪改善効果を体験している。それから約１０カ月後の２０１０年１０月２日に撮影したのが図２の写真である。このように、図１と図２を比較すると、使用を継続するに従って髪の毛の色が全体的に黒くなっており、白髪改善の継続的効果がみられる。
　モニターＢは、使用開始時の２０１０年１０月２５日に撮影した図３の写真の状態においては白髪の方が多い状態であるが、その約１カ月後の２０１０年１１月２７日に撮影した図４の写真の状態においてはほとんど白髪がなくなっており、わずか1月の間に白髪が改善されていることが分かる。また、髪にコシやハリが出ている。
　モニターＣは、使用開始時の２０１０年７月２２日に撮影した図5の写真の状態よりも、処方例のヘアトニックを使用するに従い、発毛・育毛・白髪改善効果が見られ、約4ヶ月後の2010年11月15日には図６の写真に示す通り、白髪改善効果と発毛・育毛効果が顕著に現れている。
　モニターＤは、73歳と比較的高齢であるが、使用開始時の２０１０年５月３０日に撮影した図７の写真の状態よりも、その約６カ月後の２０１０年１１月２３日に撮影した図８の写真の状態の方が、特に頭頂部において白髪が改善しているほか、髪の量が増えていることが分かる。すなわち、頭髪の活性化が余り期待できない比較的高齢者においても発毛・育毛・白髪改善効果が得られたのである。
　モニターＥは、使用開始時の２０１０年１０月７日に撮影した図９の写真の状態よりも、わずか約１カ月後の２０１０年１１月１５日に撮影した図１０の写真の状態の方が、白髪が改善すると共に、新しい髪の毛が生えてきており、髪の量も増えていることが分かる。
　以上のとおり、本発明の発毛・育毛剤によると、短期間のうちに発毛・育毛効果及び白髪改善効果を得ることができたのである。
　本発明は、顕著な発毛、育毛効果と白髪改善効果を持ち、かつ、生体に副作用を起こすことのない発毛・育毛剤として有用に利用することができる。

Claims (6)

  1. 有効成分として、ラン科シンビジウム属の植物の全草から得られる抽出物を含有することを特徴とする発毛・育毛剤。
  2. 白髪改善効果を有することを特徴とする請求項１に記載の発毛・育毛剤。
  3. 前記ラン科シンビジウム属の植物が、グレートフラワー・マリーローランサンであることを特徴とする請求項１又は２に記載の発毛・育毛剤。
  4. 前記抽出物を０．１～３０重量％含有することを特徴とする請求項１～３のいずれかに記載の発毛・育毛剤。
  5. 前記抽出物を１.０～２０重量％含有することを特徴とする請求項１～３のいずれかに記載の発毛・育毛剤。
  6. 前記抽出物を５．０～１５重量％含有することを特徴とする請求項１～３のいずれかに記載の発毛・育毛剤。
