Abstract
L'invention concerne un dispositif d'assistance au déplacement comprenant : un capteur arrière (12) qui détecte un obstacle à l'arrière d'un véhicule (11); et un dispositif de prévention de contact arrière (20) qui commande le déplacement du véhicule (11) afin d'éviter le contact entre le véhicule (11) et l'obstacle détecté par le capteur arrière (12) lorsque le véhicule (11) recule. Lorsque l'obstacle approche une distance où la détection de l'obstacle par le capteur arrière (12) est impossible lorsque le véhicule (11) recule, le dispositif de prévention de contact arrière (20) commande le déplacement du véhicule (11) en fonction d'une distance entre l'obstacle et le véhicule (11) estimée sur la base d'une distance parcourue par le véhicule (11) à partir d'une position où la détection de l'obstacle par le capteur arrière (12) est possible.
