Description

BESCHREIBUNG  DESCRIPTION
Schutzvorrichtung für insbesondere eine Luke Protective device for a particular hatch
The invention relates to a protective device for a vorzugseise arranged in the roof area and can be closed by a lid hatch, which is attached around the hatch opening around this annular surrounding track. On this now at least one along the running rail slidably disposed carriage is provided which includes at least one extending along the rail protection segment and carries, so as to achieve in a simple manner that, for example, an operator, in particular a weapons system (5) against threats by fire is protected. The hatch is part of a wheel or tracked vehicle or other object such as containers, buildings etc.
Tracked vehicles with such a carriage, also referred to as a ring carriage, are known, the ring carriage generally serving for the storage of secondary weapons (such as a machine gun or a machine gun). So it is also known, for example, to attach to the loader hatch of the main battle tank Leo II for a secondary armament a corresponding ring mount (see, for example, the views of Leo II on the Internet at: http://www.panzer-modell.de/referenz/in detail / leo2a5 / 020.jpg).
A pivot hatch, in particular for military vehicles, is disclosed in DE 10 2008 063 769 A1, which has a hatch cover which is pivotably arranged about a pivot axis relative to a pivot bearing and has a locking element.
A device for opening and closing sliding hatches can be taken from DE 10 2004 059 016 B4 and DE 20 2005 003 541 U1.
A Drehringlafette for a light weapon in particular at a hatch describes the DE 41 36 602 A1. These annular curved rails carry a carriage on which or on which the weapon is mounted. A disadvantage of these known hatches, however, that the operator of the weapon system is exposed unprotected from a threat of external fire.
The document EP 0 611 942 B1 discloses an armored vehicle in which a weapon system is arranged on the cover of a hatch such that the weapon system is actuated by a pivoting movement of the hatch cover from a lowered storage position into an established operating position. To protect the operator of the weapon system against fire, an armored protection ring is provided in addition to the hatch cover provided with a visor window, which surrounds the hatch circumferentially. In order to allow a lateral straightening of the weapon system of this vehicle, the weapon system, the hatch cover and the guard ring are arranged together on a turntable around the hatch opening around slidably.
The use of such, the hatch surrounding the guard ring to protect the operator against fire is in vehicles in which the hatch cover is not moved when moving the weapon system along a running rail, but only about a solid against the roof of the tank pivot axis, only very to realize consuming. Because on the one hand, the guard ring would have to be slidably disposed together with the weapons system along the track and on the other hand, the hatch should also be in its open position within the guard ring and then occupy a substantially vertical position.
Especially in combat situations, it is necessary for safety reasons that in such vehicles due to the strong armor very heavy and voluminous hatch cover is not in a vertical position in its open position, in which he would have to be secured relatively expensive, but flat on the roof the tub of the tank rests. But even if a hatch cover arranged vertically within the guard ring would be used, the pivoting range of the weapon system would be severely limited since the weapon system could only be displaced along the running track to the edge of the hatch cover.
The invention has for its object to provide a protective device for a hatch of the type mentioned, in which in a simple manner, the operator of the weapons system is also protected against threats of shelling when Sideways the weapon system of the hatch cover in its open position is not moved with the weapon system and rests substantially flat on the roof of the corresponding vehicle.
This object is achieved by the features of claim 1. Further, particularly advantageous embodiments of the invention disclose the dependent claims.
The invention is based essentially on the idea of providing on the running rail of a hatch at least one carriage which is displaceably arranged along the running rail and carries at least one protective segment extending along the running rail for the protection of an operator - for example a weapon system - and variable (ie largely independent of the weapon system carrying the first carriage) is positionable.
Preferably, a plurality of protective segments attached to respective carriages are slidably disposed on the running rail, which are radially offset from each other, such that they from an extended position, in which the individual protection segments along the running rail adjoin one another, in a collapsed position, wherein the Protective segments are arranged substantially radially behind one another, are displaceable along the running rail.
Conveniently, in the direction of the running rail extending width of the protective segments should be chosen such that in its collapsed position, the weapon system movable into its parking position and the lid of the hatch can be closed and opened.
The construction allows a flat drop of the hatch cover on the roof of an object, vehicle, etc. with a hatch, which is not a condition.
Es zeigen: Further details and advantages of the invention will become apparent from the following, with reference to figures explained embodiments. Show it:
Fig. 1 die perspektivische Ansicht der Ladeschützenluke eines Kampfpanzers schräg von oben gesehen mit einem in seiner Parkposition befindlichen Maschinengewehr und drei auf Laufwagen radial versetzt, angeordnete Schutzsegmente in ihrer zusammengeschobenen Position und Fig. 1 is a perspective view of the loader hatch of a main battle tank obliquely viewed from above with a machine gun located in its parking position and three radially on carriage offset, arranged protective segments in their collapsed position and
Fig. 2 is a view corresponding to Fig. 1, wherein the machine gun is in its combat position and the protective segments are shown in their extended position.
1 and 2, 1 denotes the roof of a battle tank, not shown in detail, in which a hatch 3 of the main battle tank (object) which can be closed by a cover 2 is located.
In the area of the hatch 3, a carriage 4 for a machine gun 5 is arranged, which comprises a running rail 7 surrounding the hatch opening 6 in an annular manner.
According to the invention, it is now provided that a plurality of carriages 10 displaceable along the running rail 7 are arranged on the running rail 7 for protecting the operator, for example the machine gun 5 against bombardment, on which protective segments 11 consisting of armored steel are fastened with the aid of corresponding fastening elements 12 , In this case, these carriages 10 are each provided on their outer and inner side with guide rollers 9, etc.
The individual protection segments 11 are connected by means of their fastening elements 12 with the second carriage 10, that the protective segments 1 1 are arranged radially offset from each other, so that they from a collapsed position, in which the protective segments 11 are arranged substantially radially behind each other (Fig. 1), in an extended position, in which the individual protection segments 11 adjoin one another along the running rail 7 (FIG. 2), are displaceable along the running rail 7. Furthermore, a further carriage 8 (FIG. 2) is arranged on the running rail 7, which is displaceable along the running rail 7 and can be fixed by means of corresponding fixing means (not shown) and carries the machine gun 5.
Also, the carriage 8 has on its outer and its inner side in each case guide rollers 9, which are supported on the one hand on the peripheral surface regions of the running rail 7 and on the other hand bear against the outer and inner faces of the running rail 7 for guiding the carriage 8.
As can be seen directly from FIGS. 1 and 2, the width of the respective protective segment 11 extending in the direction of the running rail 7 is selected such that the machine gun 5 can be moved into its parked position in the collapsed position of the protective segments 11 and the hatch cover 2 3 can be closed and opened.
