Abstract

Eine selbstfahrende Verdichtungswalze umfasst einen Antriebssystem (10) mit einem Antriebsaggregat (12), einer hydrostatisch/mechanischen Übertragungsanordnung (22) mit einer durch einen Hauptantrieb (14) des Antriebsaggregats (12) antreibbaren Hydraulikpumpe (18) und einem Hydraulikmotor (20), einer Unterstützungsantriebsanordnung (26) mit einer Lade/Antriebs- Einheit (28) und einer Energiespeichereinheit (42), wobei die Lade/Antriebs- Einheit (28) in einem Ladebetrieb zum Speichern von Energie in der Energiespeichereinheit (42) betreibbar ist und in einem Unterstützungsbetrieb durch Energieentnahme aus der Energiespeichereinheit (42) zur Bereitstellung eines Unterstützungsdrehmomentes betreibbar ist, wobei die Lade/Antriebs-Einheit (28) an einen Nebenantrieb (44) des Antriebsaggregats (12) angekoppelt ist.
