Abstract

본 발명은 리튬 이차전지에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 양극, 음극, 세퍼레이터 및 비수 전해액을 구비한 리튬 이차전지는, 상기 양극, 음극 또는 양극과 음극이, 전극을 형성하는 전극 활물질 입자가 금속 산화물 코팅층을 구비하거나 집전체 상에 형성된 전극층 표면에 금속 산화물 코팅층을 구비하며, 상기 비수 전해액이 이온화 가능한 리튬염; 유기용매; 및 특정한 구조의 디니트릴 화합물을 함유한다. 본 발명의 리튬 이차전지는 전극의 열화가 방지되고 전해액의 부반응이 억제되어 사이클 수명 및 출력 성능이 우수하다.
