Abstract

The present invention aims at a washbasin provided with one or more replaceable decorative elements, which allow to have a modifiable decoration over time without the need to replace the body of the washbasin.

The decoration in the houses is done according to the tastes and possibilities of the moment. Over time, decorative trends change and a certain washbasin can become decoratively obsolete. Also in a house can change the people who live in it, passing, for example, from parents to children, and with them the decorative tastes.

On the other hand, in the manufacturing phase the conventional washbasin support furniture must be manufactured independently for each series, so that large storage or high response times against buyer are required. Both situations are unwanted.

It is therefore desirable and object of the present invention to obtain a washbasin comprising a single main body and in which the decoration (color combinations, for example) is accessory and easy to install.

According to the invention, a washbasin is described which is formed by:

• a support body;

• defined front and / or side housings between each pair of corners;

• possibly reinforcement pieces of the lateral ends of the decorative plates;

• some pieces of anchoring to the wall and support of the support body;

Description of the embodiments of the invention

According to the preferred embodiment, a washbasin (1) is described which is formed by the following elements:

However, the lower closing base (5) may not comprise lower corners (54) if the corners of the support body (2) extend to the support surface of said lower closing base (5). Different variations of the invention may occur, as indicated above, without altering the essence thereof, being the geometry of the bases of the prism that forms the support body (2), and that a housing is arranged on the surface for a sink or for a cover provided with a sink, although this is a less preferred solution.

By means of the invention, a washbasin is achieved that can adopt multiple decorations avoiding having to manufacture and store different complete sets, being sufficient, in short, that a single support body can add different decorative plates, minimizing production and storage costs, and facilitating the adaptation to current trends without the need for the company to be forced to withdraw or settle unwanted products by customers.

Claims

1. - Washbasin, characterized by being formed by a support body (2) that forms a bucket (21) or that supports a body in which said bucket is formed, or because it houses a bench that supports a bucket, having said body of support a set of vertical edges of which at least two of them are topped by upper corners (24), so that at least one pair of said upper corners (24) define at least one front or side housing (23) on their corresponding facing faces, so that the housing (23) has an open groove in the form of a downward groove.
