Abstract

염수로부터 고순도의 탄산리튬을 제조할 수 있는 방법에 대하여 개시한다. 본 발명에 따른 염수에서의 탄산리튬 제조 방법은 염수에서 마그네슘 이온을 제거하는 마그네슘 제거 단계; 상기 마그네슘 이온이 제거된 염수에 흡착제를 투입하여 리튬 이온을 흡착시킨 후, 상기 리튬 이온이 흡착된 흡착제를 강산 용액에 투입하여 리튬 이온을 탈착하는 리튬 흡착/탈착 단계; 상기 리튬 이온이 탈착된 강산 용액을 농축하는 농축 단계; 및 상기 농축 용액에 포함된 리튬 이온을 탄산 전구체와 화학반응시켜 탄산리튬을 수득하는 탄산리튬 수득 단계;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
