Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Betriebsverfahren für eine, insbesondere direkteinspritzende, mehrere Brennräume aufweisende Brennkraftmaschine, insbesondere für einen direkteinspritzenden Ottomotor eines Kraftfahrzeugs, mit zumindest teilweiser NOx-armer Verbrennung (NAV) und mit mehreren Teilbetriebsverfahren, wobei ein NAV- Teilbetriebsverfahren eingesetzt wird, bei dem zumindest mittels einer Einspritzung Wasser in den jeweiligen Brennraum eingespritzt wird, wobei bei dem NAV- Teilbetriebsverfahrens zu einem Zündzeitpunkt (ZZP) ein weitgehend homogenes, mageres Kraftstoff -/Abgas-/Luftgemisch mit einem Verbrennungsluftverhältnis von λ≥1 in dem jeweiligen Brennraum mittels einer Zündvorrichtung fremdgezündet wird und die durch die Fremdzündung gestartete Flammenfrontverbrennung (FFV) in eine Raumzündverbrennung (RZV) übergeht. Durch die Einspritzung von Wasser kann das NAV-Teilbetriebsverfahren auch bei höheren Motorlasten betriebsstabil durchgeführt werden.
