Abstract

본 발명은 보간 필터 계수를 결정하여 영상을 보간하는 방법을 제안한다. 화소단위들 사이에 위치하는 적어도 하나의 부화소단위의 픽셀값을 생성하기 위한 보간 필터들 중에서, 부화소단위의 보간 위치 및 평활도에 기초하여 상이하게 보간 필터를 선택하고, 선택된 보간 필터를 이용하여 화소단위 픽셀들의 픽셀값들을 보간하여, 적어도 하나의 부화소단위의 픽셀값을 생성하는 평활화를 고려한 영상 보간 방법이 개시된다.
