Abstract
L'invention porte sur un dispositif optoélectronique qui comprend un guide d'onde optique 100 pour moduler de la lumière. Le dispositif comprend également une électrode 102 chevauchant le guide d'onde 100 pour polariser électriquement le guide d'onde pour un effet, tel qu'une modulation. Au moins une partie 1 du guide d'onde sous l'électrode est conique. Cet agencement réduit une densité de dissipation thermique à l'extrémité avant de l'électrode.
