Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Sieb (1), insbesondere ein Formiersieb für eine Maschine (100) zur Herstellung einer Faserstoffbahn (101), insbesondere einer Papier-, Karton- oder Verpackungspapierbahn, umfassend eine bahnseitige erste Gewebelage (Lo) und eine maschinenseitige zweite Gewebelage (Lu), wobei die erste Gewebelage (Lo) und die zweite Gewebelage (Lu) jeweilige durch in einer Bindefadenrichtung (R) sich erstreckende Bindefäden (B.i) miteinander verbundene Grundbindungen mit jeweils in Bindefadenrichtung (R) sich erstreckenden Grundbindungsfäden (B1.i), die eine erste Gruppe (G1) von Grundbindungsfäden (B1.i) ausbilden, und jeweils quer zu der Bindefadenrichtungen (R) sich erstreckenden Grundbindungsfäden (B2.i), die eine zweite Gruppe (G2) von Grundbindungsfäden (B2.i) ausbilden, aufweisen, und wobei die erste Gewebelage (Lo) und die zweite Gewebelage (Lu) jeweils ein Webmuster besitzen, welches sich in Rapporten (R.i) wiederholt. Das erfindungsgemäße Sieb (1) ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass zumindest die während der Verwendung des Siebs (1) einer Reibung unterliegenden Grundbindungsfäden (B 1. i, B2.i) zumindest einer der beiden Gruppen (G1, G2) aus einem zumindest PET umfassenden Basismaterial (M) bestehen, welches mit mindestens einem weiteren Additiv (A) versehen ist, und dass der eine Längsachse (L) aufweisende Grundbindungsfaden (B1.i, B2.i) während der Verwendung des Siebs (1) einen zwischen seiner Längsachse (L) und der Bewegungsrichtung (S) des Siebs (1) ausgebildeten Reibangriffswinkel (W) aufweist, der einen Wert im Bereich von etwa 0 bis etwa +/- 90° annimmt.
