Abstract

본 발명의 근거리 홍채 인식용 카메라는 조명 IR LED(적외선 엘이디)의 가이드 상부에 경사면을 갖고 요철부가 형성된 프리즘을 설치하여 홍채 주변의 밝기 균일도가 향상되어 홍채 인식이 향상되고, 또한 IR LED를 통해서 정전기가 내부 장치로 전달되는 것을 효과적으로 차단하는 것에 있다. 상기 목적을 달성하기 위해 본 발명은 센서 및 부속회로, 렌즈, 백색조명과 조명 IR LED를 포함하는 조명 광원으로 구성된 홍채 인식용 카메라에 있어서, 조명 광원은 렌즈의 렌즈 중심선과 일정 거리 이격되어 있고, 렌즈의 물체면(object plane)은 홍채가 놓이는 위치이고, 렌즈의 끝으로부터 일정 거리(L) 떨어져 있으며, 실질적으로는 렌즈 중심선 주변의 영역이 되고, 렌즈의 결상면(結像面)은 이미지 센서면이며, 조명 중심선은 렌즈의 물체면을 향하도록 렌즈의 렌즈 중심선과 아크탄젠트(D/L) 만큼의 조명경사각도를 갖도록 렌즈의 렌즈 중심선과 평행하게 또는 평행에 가깝게 조명 광원을 배치하고, 렌즈의 렌즈 중심선과 이격시키고 물체면에 경사지게 조명하도록 프리즘을 설치하여 구성된 것이 특징이다.
