  • the shifting of the correction wheels 1 1 , 12 into the active position can be realized through suitable actuator members or also by hand, through screw members and the like.
  • the metal rods 2 to be straightened are fed in couple, by the side of each other, between the straightening wheels 3, 4 of the straightening unit 1 .
  • the rods 2 engage the corresponding throats 3a, 4a of the straightening wheels 3, 4 so as to subject the rods 2 to suitable flexure actions which enable to substantially cancel the residual curvature and make the straightening effect permanent.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant de corriger l'effet des contraintes de torsion dans des tiges métalliques, consistant à alimenter une première tige (2) parmi deux tiges métalliques (2) à travers au moins une première roue de correction (11) pourvue d'une partie rainurée (11a), de forme appropriée, conçue pour mettre en prise également de manière transversale ladite première tige (2), et d'une partie inférieure plate adjacente (11b) conçue pour mettre en prise une seconde tige (2) alimentée par le côté de la première tige (2). Le décalage axial de ladite première roue de correction (11) est effectué, dans une direction transversale à l'axe d'alimentation des tiges (2), pour exécuter la correction de l'effet de la torsion de ladite première tige (2).
