Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Photovoltaikmodul, mit einer Photovoltaik- schicht, die auf ein Substrat aufgebracht ist, nach dem Oberbegriff des Anspruches 1 .
Stand der Technik
In der DE 10 2007 034 252 A1 wird ein Photovoltaikmodul beschrieben, das ein Substrat als Trägermaterial und eine auf das Substrat aufgebrachte Photovol- taikschicht umfasst, bestehend aus einer Grundelektrode unmittelbar auf der O- berfläche des Substrates, einer optisch aktiven Schicht und einer Deckelektrode. Das Substrat besteht gemäß einer in der DE 10 2007 034 252 A1 genannten Ausführungsvariante aus Papier oder Karton, wodurch dem Substrat eine flexible Verformbarkeit verliehen wird.
Offenbarung der Erfindung
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, mit einfachen Maßnahmen ein leicht bauendes und stabiles Photovoltaikmodul zu schaffen.
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß mit den Merkmalen des Anspruches 1 gelöst. Die Unteransprüche geben zweckmäßige Weiterbildungen an.
Das erfindungsgemäße Photovoltaikmodul weist ein Substrat als Trägerelement und eine auf das Substrat aufgebrachte, optisch aktive Photovoltaikschicht auf. Das Substrat besitzt eine Wabenstruktur, wodurch die Stabilität des Substrats und damit auch des gesamten Photovoltaikmoduls signifikant gesteigert ist. Dies erlaubt es, für das Substrat leichte Materialien zu verwenden und dennoch ein
Photovoltaikmodul mit hoher Stabilität zu erhalten. Aufgrund der Wabenstruktur ist das Substrat im Wesentlichen starr ausgebildet und kann für einen großflächigen Einsatz einer Vielzahl zusammenwirkender, einzelner Photovoltaikmodule verwendet werden. Hierbei ist entweder pro Substrat eine Photovoltaikschicht vorgesehen, wobei eine Mehrzahl derartiger Photovoltaikmodule zusammengeschaltet werden können, oder es sind auf einem gemeinsamen, großflächigen Substrat mehrere einzelne Photovoltaikschichten angeordnet, wobei auch in diesem Fall eine Mehrzahl von Photovoltaikmodulen zusammengekoppelt werden können.
Aufgrund der Wabenstruktur können Materialien verwendet werden, die ansonsten in einer Ausführung als Glattlage flexibel verformbar wären. Die Wabenstruktur verleiht derartigen Materialien eine ausreichende Festigkeit zum Erzielen einer starren Struktur. Zugleich weist das in dieser Weise ausgebildete Substrat ein verhältnismäßig geringes Flächengewicht auf. Photovoltaikmodule mit derartigen Substraten können für großflächige Einsatzgebiete wie zum Beispiel auf Dächern von Industriegebäuden, Sporthallen oder in Solarparks auf Feldern verwendet werden. Möglich ist aber auch eine kleinflächige Anwendung, die gleichwohl eine Mindeststabilität voraussetzt, beispielsweise, um Tragkonstruktionen durch das Photovoltaikmodul zu substituieren wie zum Beispiel bei Fahrzeugen, beispielsweise im Autodach.
Das Substrat kann sowohl eben als auch nicht-eben, beispielsweise gewölbt ausgeführt sein. Die Photovoltaikschicht liegt vorzugsweise flächig bzw. parallel zur Oberfläche auf dem Substrat auf.
Gemäß einer bevorzugten Ausführung besteht das Substrat zumindest im Wesentlichen aus Papier oder Karton, gegebenenfalls kommen auch Kunststoff- o- der Metallkonstruktionen in Betracht. Die Verwendung von Papier oder Karton für das Substrat hat den Vorteil des geringen Gewichtes bei kostengünstiger Herstellung.
Das Substrat ist zweckmäßigerweise dreilagig ausgeführt und umfasst eine obere und eine untere Decklage, zwischen denen eine Wabenstrukturlage liegt. Die drei Lagen bestehen vorzugsweise alle aus dem gleichen Material, bevorzugt aus Papier oder Karton, wobei grundsätzlich auch eine Kombination verschiede-
ner Materialien in Betracht kommt, beispielsweise eine Fertigung der oberen und unteren Decklage aus einem ersten Material und der zwischenliegenden Wabenstrukturlage aus einem zweiten, sich unterscheidenden Material. In Betracht kommt auch eine Kombination von Papier und Karton, indem zum Beispiel die Wabenstrukturlage aus Papier und die beiden Decklagen aus Karton bestehen bzw. umgekehrt.
Es kann zweckmäßig sein, zur Steigerung der Stabilität mindestens ein Stützelement mit dem Substrat zu verbinden, beispielsweise eine Glasfasermatte. Im Falle eines dreilagigen Substrats befindet sich das Stützelement entweder an einer der Decklagen, an beiden Decklagen, an der Wabenstrukturlage, an einer Decklage und einer angrenzenden Wabenstrukturlage oder an allen drei Lagen. Hierbei können sowohl die einzelnen Lagen mit jeweils einem Stützelement versehen sein als auch zwei Lagen oder alle drei Lagen über ein gemeinsames Stützelement verstärkt sein.
Die Photovoltaikschicht kann sowohl organisch als auch anorganisch als Solarzelle ausgebildet sein. Im Falle einer organischen Ausführung zeichnet sich diese durch ein verhältnismäßig geringes Gewicht und eine gute Flexibilität aus. Durch das Aufbringen der organischen Photovoltaikschicht auf das wabenartige Substrat ist das Photovoltaikmodul insgesamt starr ausgebildet. Die Flexibilität der organischen Photovoltaikschicht erlaubt es, nicht-ebene Substratoberflächen mit der Photovoltaikschicht zu bedecken. Im Falle einer anorganischen Solarzelle ist die Festigkeit und Stabilität des Substrats groß genug, das erhöhte Gewicht aufnehmen zu können, eine ausreichende Steifigkeit für Anwendung bereitzustellen sowie den Schutz der Zellen (insbesondere beim Einsatz von kristallinen Dickschichtzellen) vor Bruch zu gewährleisten.
Für eine weitere Verbesserung der Stabilität kann es zweckmäßig sein, die Waben des Substrats teilweise oder vollständig mit einem Schaum zu füllen, der vorzugsweise im nicht ausgehärteten Zustand in die Waben eingebracht wird und anschließend aushärtet. Der Schaum besteht beispielsweise aus Polyurethan und kann im Composite Spray Molding (CSM)-Verfahren eingebracht werden.
Das Substrat weist zweckmäßigerweise eine wasserfeste Beschichtung auf, wobei gegebenenfalls die Beschichtung zusätzlich die Entflammbarkeit verringert. In der Ausführung des Substrats als wabenartiger Karton bzw. Papierwabe weist dieses vorteilhafterweise einschließlich der Beschichtung ein Gewicht von beispielsweise 1 15 g/m2 auf.
Die Verbindung der Photovoltaikschicht mit dem Substrat erfolgt beispielsweise mittels Klebens, wobei sowohl eine durchgehende, flächige Klebeschicht als auch einzelne Klebepunkte bzw. ein Klebemuster vorgesehen sein können. Möglich sind aber auch sonstige Verbindungsarten wie formschlüssige Verbindungen, beispielsweise mittels einer transparenten Folie, die über die Photovoltaikschicht gespannt ist und am Substrat befestigt ist. Weiterhin besteht die Möglichkeit, die Photovoltaikschicht mit einer starren, UV-beständigen und transparenten Schicht bzw. Platte abzudecken (beispielsweise Polycarbonat oder Plexiglas) und mit dem Substrat zu verbinden.
Weitere Vorteile und zweckmäßige Ausführungen sind den weiteren Ansprüchen, der Figurenbeschreibung und den Zeichnungen zu entnehmen. Es zeigen:
Fig. 1 in Seitenansicht ein Photovoltaikmodul, mit einem Substrat, auf das eine optisch aktive Photovoltaikschicht aufgebracht ist, wobei das Substrat im Innern eine Wabenstruktur aufweist,
Fig. 2 das Photovoltaikmodul gemäß Fig. 1 in einer perspektivischen Ansicht,
Fig. 3 in Einzeldarstellung das Substrat in einer perspektivischen Explosionsdarstellung, bestehend aus einer oberen und unteren Decklage und einer zwischenliegenden Wabenstrukturlage,

In den Figuren sind gleiche Bauteile mit gleichen Bezugszeichen versehen.
In den Fig. 1 und 2 ist ein Photovoltaikmodul 1 dargestellt, das als Trägerkörper ein Substrat 2 und als optisch aktive Schicht eine auf das Substrat 2 aufgebrachte Photovoltaikschicht 3 aufweist. Die Photovoltaikschicht 3 ist beispielsweise als leichte und flexible organische Schicht ausgeführt. Die fest mit der Oberseite des Substrats 2 verbundene Photovoltaikschicht 3 weist eine geringfügig kleinere Grundfläche als das Substrat auf, so dass zwischen dem Randbereich der Photovoltaikschicht 3 und dem Randbereich des Substrats 2 ein umlaufender Streifen gebildet ist, der frei von der Photovoltaikschicht ist.
Das Substrat 2 des Photovoltaikmoduls 1 weist in der in Fig. 3 dargestellten Weise eine Wabenstruktur auf und besteht aus Papier bzw. Karton. Gemäß Fig. 3 weist das Substrat 2 drei übereinander liegende und miteinander verbundene Lagen auf, nämlich eine obere Decklage 4, eine untere Decklage 5 und eine zwischenliegende Wabenstrukturlage 6. Die Lagen sind durch Kleben miteinander verbunden. Die obere und die untere Decklage 4 bzw. 5 sind glattflächig ausgeführt, die Wabenstrukturlage 6 besitzt eine Wabenstruktur mit einer Vielzahl einzelner Waben, welche sich zwischen oberer und unterer Decklage 4, 5 erstrecken. Im Ausführungsbeispiel weisen die Waben Dreieckform auf, wobei grundsätzlich auch andere Querschnittsformen in Betracht kommen, beispielsweise sechseckige Waben oder viereckige Waben. Die Dicke der zwischenliegenden Wabenstruktur 6 ist signifikant größer als die Dicke der Decklagen 4 bzw. 5. Aufgrund der Erstreckung der einzelnen Waben zwischen den Lagen 4 bzw. 5 weist das Substrat 2 in Belastungsrichtung orthogonal zur Ebene der Decklagen 4 bzw. 5 eine hohe Steifigkeit auf. Auch in Querrichtung besitzt das Substrat eine erhöhte Steifigkeit.
Im Ausführungsbeispiel gemäß Fig. 4 ist das Substrat 2 ebenfalls mit einer Wabenstruktur versehen. Die Photovoltaikschicht 3 ist von einer transparenten Folie 7 überzogen, deren Randbereiche mit dem Substrat 2 verbunden sind. Auf diese Weise wird die Photovoltaikschicht 3 mithilfe der Folie 7 mit dem Substrat 2 verbunden. Darüber hinaus können gegebenenfalls weitere Befestigungsmaßnahmen zur Verbindung der Photovoltaikschicht im Subtrat vorgesehen sein, sie sind aber nicht zwingend erforderlich.
Im Ausführungsbeispiel gemäß Fig. 5, bei dem das Substrat 2 des Photovoltaik- moduls 1 ebenfalls eine Wabenstruktur aufweist, ist die Photovoltaikschicht 3 ü- ber eine Klebeverbindung 8 mit dem Substrat 2 verbunden. Die Klebeverbindung 8 liegt in Form eines Klebemusters mit zwischen verschiedenen Klebereihen frei- liegenden Bereichen vor, wobei grundsätzlich auch eine flächige, durchgehende
Verklebung in Betracht kommt.
Claims
1 . Photovoltaikmodul, mit einer Photovoltaikschicht (3), die auf ein Substrat (2) aufgebracht ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Substrat (2) eine Wabenstruktur aufweist.
2. Photovoltaikmodul nach Anspruch 1 , dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Substrat (2) aus Kunststoff, Metall, Papier oder Karton besteht.
3. Photovoltaikmodul nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Waben des Substrats (2) mit einem Schaum gefüllt sind.
4. Photovoltaikmodul nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Substrat (2) eine wasserfeste Beschichtung aufweist.
5. Photovoltaikmodul nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Photovoltaikschicht (3) flexibel ausgebildet ist.
6. Photovoltaikmodul nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Substrat (2) eine obere und eine untere Decklage (4, 5) und eine zwischenliegende Wabenstrukturlage (6) umfasst.
7. Photovoltaikmodul nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Substrat (2) mit einem Stabilitätserhöhenden Stützelement verbunden ist, insbesondere mit einer Glasfasermatte.
8. Photovoltaikmodul nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Photovoltaikschicht (3) durch Kleben mit dem Substrat (2) verbunden ist.
9. Photovoltaikmodul nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Photovoltaikschicht (3) von einer transparenten Folie (7) überdeckt ist.
10. Photovoltaikmodul nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Photovoltaikschicht (3) von einer transparenten Kunststoff-Platte überdeckt ist.
1 1 . Photovoltaikmodul nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass eine organische Photovoltaikschicht (3) eingesetzt wird.
12. Photovoltaikmodul nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 1 1 , dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Photovoltaikschicht (3) als anorganische Solarzelle ausgebildet ist.
