- Brittleness characteristics were evaluated using the active material of Example 2 and the active material of Comparative Example 1. Specifically, the particle size measurement (measurement of the D50 value) was performed while grinding each of the active materials using a ball mill (average particle size before grinding: about 400 ⁇ m to 1 mm) for each hour. At this time, the grinding conditions are as follows, and the particle size measurement was measured according to a conventional method in the art.

- the powder having a D50 of 13 ⁇ m was collected during the pulverization at the brittleness characteristic, and the electrical conductivity of the negative electrode active material was measured while varying the load from 4 kN to 20 kN using a conventional powder resistor. - a of the right side of FIG. 10 shows the initial state of the electrode plate manufactured with the active material of Example 2, and B of the right side shows the state after charge / discharge of the said electrode plate. As shown in FIG.
- the substrate was hardly deformed even after 10 charge / discharge cycles.
- the substrate was severely deformed.
- the active material of Comparative Example 1 has a structure containing a high-strength matrix having excellent ductility, so that the disintegration and atomization of the active material due to charge and discharge repetition is suppressed, so that the pores in the electrode plate are not used effectively. Pole plate expansion is extremely severe. Accordingly, in the case of the electrode plate using the active material of Comparative Example 1, the deformation of the base material is severe, whereas in the case of the active material of Example 2, a brittle alloy matrix having high electrical conductivity and employing a brittle alloy matrix is used. This decay, and the collapsed fine active material utilizes the pores in the electrode plate, rearrangement is generated, it is believed that the deformation of the substrate is suppressed.
