The watertight barrier (20) is configured to be elastically deformable, elastically deforms by receiving high-pressure wash water that is injected via the narrow gap (S), coming into contact with the downwardly extended face (33) of the lamp attachment depression face (32), thereby allowing preventing the high-pressure wash water from reaching the rear side of the lamp unit (10).

Description

Waterproof structure of vehicle lamp unit
In the present invention, a lamp unit is fitted in a recess surrounded by an edge of a lamp mounting concave surface of a body and an upper side of a design surface of a bumper, and a rear opening of the lamp unit is connected to an opening of the lamp mounting concave surface. Further, the present invention relates to a waterproof structure for a lamp unit of a vehicle having a configuration in which the lamp unit is mounted on the lamp mounting concave surface.
The mounting structure of the rear lamp unit 100 of the passenger car C is shown in FIGS.
As shown in FIG. 5 (A), the rear lamp unit 100 is fitted on a lamp mounting concave surface 122 formed on the upper side of the rear bumper 112 so as to be recessed with respect to the body design surface 120 of the passenger car C. It is fixed. In the above configuration, the parting gap S is formed between the lower end edge of the front surface of the rear lamp unit 100 and the upper side of the rear bumper 112.
As shown in FIG. 5B, the rear lamp unit 100 has a rear opening 103h through which wiring, connectors, and the like are formed on the rear surface of the housing 103 of the rear lamp unit 100, and the rear opening 103h is formed on the body. It is comprised so that it may overlap with the opening part 122h formed in the lamp | ramp attachment concave surface 122. A seal packing 123 is sandwiched between the rear surface of the rear lamp unit 100 and the lamp mounting concave surface 122 so as to surround the rear opening 103h and the opening 122h. Thereby, in a state where the rear lamp unit 100 is mounted on the lamp mounting concave surface 122 of the body, the connection portion between the rear opening 103h of the rear lamp unit 100 and the opening 122h of the lamp mounting concave surface 122 is sealed.
However, as shown in FIG. 5B, when high-pressure cleaning water (see the alternate long and short dash line) is experimentally blown from the parting gap S between the rear lamp unit 100 and the rear bumper 112, the high-pressure cleaning water may be used depending on the blowing direction. The unit 100 may wrap around the back side of the unit 100 and be sprayed onto the seal packing 123. At this time, a part of the high-pressure cleaning water may pass through the sealing packing 123 and enter the rear lamp unit 100 from the rear opening 103h.
As a countermeasure against such high-pressure washing water, the technique of Patent Document 1 is provided with a water shield so as to block the high-pressure washing water blown from the parting gap S. Using this technique, it is conceivable to install a water shield 126 on the lower surface of the housing 103 of the rear lamp unit 100 as shown by the dotted line in FIG.
However, in order to effectively shut off the high pressure washing water blown from the parting gap S between the rear lamp unit 100 and the rear bumper 112 by the water barrier 126, the tip (lower end) of the water barrier 126 is parted. It is necessary to project below S. That is, it is necessary to increase the downward protrusion amount of the water shield 126. However, if the downward protrusion amount of the water shield 126 is increased, when the rear lamp unit 100 is fitted into the lamp mounting concave surface 122 of the body, the water shield 126 interferes with the upper side 112u of the rear bumper 112, and the rear lamp unit It becomes difficult to fit 100 into the lamp mounting concave surface 122 of the body. For this reason, the amount of downward protrusion of the water shield 126 cannot be increased to a desired level, and it is difficult to obtain satisfactory water shielding performance. Further, the high-pressure cleaning water that has collided with the water shield 126 may collide with the lower extension surface 124 of the lamp mounting concave surface 122 of the body, be reflected, and be sprayed onto the seal packing 123.
The present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems, and the problem to be solved by the present invention is that the high-pressure washing water blown from the parting gap is improved on the rear side of the lamp housing. To prevent water from getting into the lamp unit.

The water shield is configured to be elastically deformable, is elastically deformed by receiving high-pressure washing water blown from the parting gap, and comes into contact with a lower extension surface of the concave mounting surface of the lamp so that the high-pressure washing water is The lamp unit is configured to be prohibited from turning around in the direction of the back surface of the lamp unit.
According to the present invention, the water shield is pushed and elastically deformed by the high pressure washing water blown from the parting gap, and comes into contact with the lower extension surface of the lamp mounting concave surface of the body. It is configured so that it can be prohibited to wrap around in the back direction.
For this reason, the high-pressure washing water blown from the parting gap does not flow around the back surface of the lamp unit. Therefore, there is no problem that a part of the high-pressure washing water enters the inside of the lamp unit from the connecting portion between the rear opening of the lamp unit and the opening of the lamp mounting concave surface.
According to the invention of claim 2, when the lamp unit is fitted into the recess surrounded by the lamp mounting concave edge and the upper side of the design surface of the bumper, the water shield is brought into contact with the bumper and elastically deformed. By doing so, it is configured to be able to pass through the position of the upper side of the bumper.
For this reason, even if the water shield is manufactured with a desired projecting dimension, the water shield does not interfere with the assembly when the lamp unit is assembled to the lamp mounting concave surface of the body.
According to a third aspect of the present invention, the water shield is composed of a fixing part fixed to the lower part of the lamp unit and a hook body part protruding downward from the lower surface of the lamp unit. A thin-walled portion is provided at a boundary position with the main body portion.
For this reason, the bag main body portion always bends at the boundary position with the fixed portion when receiving a pressing force of the high-pressure washing water or when the tip portion comes into contact with the upper side of the bumper. That is, since the bag main body portion is always deformed at the same position, the water shielding performance and the like are made constant.
According to the invention of claim 4, the water shield is characterized in that the tip of the water shield is separated from the downward extension surface of the lamp mounting concave surface without receiving the pressing force of the high-pressure washing water.
That is, when no external force is applied to the water shield, a gap is formed between the tip of the water shield and the downwardly extending surface of the lamp mounting concave surface. For this reason, for example, even if water adheres to the back surface of the lamp unit, the water is not discharged from the gap between the water shield and the downward extension surface and collected.
According to the present invention, the high-pressure cleaning water blown from the parting gap formed between the lamp unit and the design surface of the bumper does not flow around in the rear direction of the lamp unit, and a part of the high-pressure cleaning water enters the lamp unit. The problem of intrusion will not occur.

<About the structure of the vehicle body>
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2A, the vehicle body 30 has a lamp mounting concave surface 32 (see FIG. 2 (FIG. 2 (A))) at which the rear lamp unit 10 is mounted at a boundary position with the back door 62 and at an upper position of the bumper 64. A)) is formed. The lamp mounting concave surface 32 is formed so as to be recessed with respect to the design surface 35 of the body 30 so that the rear lamp unit 10 is fitted, and the edge shape of the lamp mounting concave surface 32 is matched to the outer shape of the rear lamp unit 10. ing. The design surface 64 e of the bumper 64 is configured to be continuous with the design surface 35 of the body 30, and the upper side 64 u of the design surface 64 e is configured to be continuous with the edge of the lamp mounting concave surface 32. . That is, the rear lamp unit 10 is fitted into a recess formed by the edge of the lamp mounting concave surface 32 of the body 30 and the upper side 64u of the design surface 64e of the bumper 64. In this state, a parting gap S (see FIG. 1) is formed between the lower end edge of the front surface of the rear lamp unit 10 and the design surface 64e of the bumper 64.
As shown in FIGS. 2 (A), 3 (A), etc., the lamp mounting concave surface 32 of the body 30 has the light source wiring and connector at a position overlapping the rear opening 14b and the support projection 14t of the rear lamp unit 10. And the opening part 32h through which the support protrusion 14t is passed is formed. Further, a lower extension surface 33 is formed below the lamp mounting concave surface 32 of the body 30 and extends downward from the position of the lamp mounting concave surface 32 inside the bumper 64.
<Waterproof structure of rear lamp unit 10>
As shown in FIG. 4A, the rear opening 14b of the rear lamp unit 10 and the opening 32h of the lamp mounting concave surface 32 are surrounded between the rear surface of the rear lamp unit 10 and the lamp mounting concave surface 32 of the body 30. Sealing packing 36 is sandwiched. As a result, in a state where the rear lamp unit 10 is mounted on the lamp mounting concave surface 32 of the body 30, the connecting portion between the rear opening 14b of the rear lamp unit 10 and the opening 32h of the lamp mounting concave surface 32 is sealed.
2A and 2B, the lower surface 14x of the rear lamp unit 10 (the lower surface x of the lamp housing 14) is arranged on the inner side of the bumper 64 with the lower edge of the front surface of the rear lamp unit 10 and the bumper 64. A water shield 20 extending along the parting gap S between the design surface 64e is provided.
The water shield 20 is a bowl-shaped member for blocking the high-pressure washing water blown from the parting gap S as a test, and is formed of, for example, synthetic rubber so as to be elastically deformable. The water shield 20 is a band plate-shaped fixing portion 22 fixed to the lower surface 14x of the lamp housing 14, and a band plate-shaped rod main body which is erected substantially perpendicular to the fixing portion 22 and protrudes downward. The section 24 is formed in an inverted L-shaped section. Then, the water shield 20 is fixed to the lower surface 14x of the lamp housing 14 so that the inner side of the corner portion between the fixing portion 22 of the water shield 20 and the main body portion 24 faces the surface side of the lamp housing 14 (FIG. 2 (A) (B)). Further, as shown in FIG. 4A, the water shield 20 has the main body 24 of the water shield 20 mounted on the lamp mounting concave surface in a state where the rear lamp unit 10 is mounted on the lamp mounting concave surface 32 of the body 30. It arrange | positions in the position which approaches the downward extension surface 33 of 32 (refer to a dashed-two dotted line).
A groove 23 having an arcuate cross section is formed along the corner between the fixed portion 22 and the main body portion 24 of the water shield rod 20, and the corner portion is thin. Thereby, the main body part 24 of the water shield 20 is easily tilted forward and backward with respect to the fixed part 22 by receiving an external force in the front-rear direction.
That is, the corner portion of the water shield rod 20 corresponds to the boundary position between the fixed portion and the rod body portion of the present invention.
Further, as shown in FIG. 4 (A), the protrusion dimension of the main body 24 of the water shield 20 is such that the rear lamp unit 10 is mounted on the lamp mounting concave surface 32 of the body 30 and The front end portion (lower end portion) is set so as to be disposed below the parting gap S.
<Attaching the Rear Lamp Unit 10 to the Body 30>
In order to attach the rear lamp unit 10 to the body 30, as shown in FIG. 2A, a recess formed by the edge of the lamp mounting concave surface 32 of the body 30 and the upper side 64u of the design surface 64e of the bumper 64. The rear lamp unit 10 is disposed behind the body recess (hereinafter referred to as a body recess). In this state, the rear lamp unit 10 is moved forward so as to be fitted into the body recess. In the process of fitting the rear lamp unit 10 into the body recess, the main body 24 of the water shield 20 provided on the lower surface 14x of the rear lamp unit 10 is designed as shown in FIG. 3 (A). It abuts on the surface 64e. However, as shown in FIG. 3 (B), the main body portion 24 is configured to easily fall in the direction of the external force due to the action of the groove 23 (thin wall portion) formed inside the corner portion of the impermeable barrier 20.塀 body part 24 falls backward, and can pass the position of upper side 64u of bumper 64. That is, the water shield 20 does not hinder the fitting operation of the rear lamp unit 10.
The support projection 14t provided on the rear surface of the rear lamp unit 10 is passed through the opening 32h of the lamp mounting concave surface 32 of the body 30, and the rear lamp unit 10 is fitted into the body recess. In this state, as shown in FIG. 4A, the connecting portion between the rear opening 14 b of the rear lamp unit 10 and the opening 32 h of the lamp mounting concave surface 32 is sealed by the sealing packing 36. Further, in a state where the rear lamp unit 10 is fitted in the body recess, a part of the rear lamp unit 10 comes into engagement with a part of the lamp mounting concave surface 32 (not shown). In this state, the rear lamp unit 10 is fixed to the body 30 by bolting the rear lamp unit 10 to the lamp mounting concave surface 32 (not shown).
<About the operation of the water barrier 20>
Next, the operation of the water barrier 20 will be described.
As shown in FIG. 4A, when high-pressure cleaning water (see the alternate long and short dash line) is blown from the parting gap S between the lower surface edge of the rear lamp unit 10 and the design surface 64e of the bumper 64, the high-pressure cleaning water is It collides with the main body 24 of the water shield 20 fixed to the lower surface 14x of the housing 14. As a result, as shown in FIG. 4B, the heel body 24 falls forward (rightward in FIG. 4) by the pressing force of the high-pressure washing water, and the outer side of the tip of the heel body 24 is the body 30. The lamp mounting concave surface 32 abuts on the lower extension surface 33. At this time, since the heel body portion 24 bends, the distal end portion of the heel body portion 24 comes along the downward extension surface 33 of the body 30, and the distal end portion of the heel body portion 24 and the lower extension surface 33 of the body 30 are in close contact with each other. Improves. That is, since the space between the lower surface 14x of the lamp housing 14 of the rear lamp unit 10 and the lower extension surface 33 of the body 30 is blocked by the main body 24 of the water shield 20, the high-pressure cleaning water flows in the rear direction of the lamp housing 14. No longer wrap around. For this reason, the high pressure washing water is not sprayed on the sealing packing 36 sandwiched between the back surface of the lamp housing 14 and the lamp mounting concave surface 32 of the body 30, and the water passes through the sealing packing 36. There is no entry into the rear lamp unit 10 from the rear opening 14b.
Further, the tip end portion of the main body portion 24 of the water shield 20 is held in a state separated from the downward extension surface 33 of the lamp mounting concave surface 32 of the body 30 without receiving the pressing force of the high-pressure washing water. (See FIG. 4 (B) two-dot chain line). For this reason, for example, even if water adheres to the portion of the seal packing 36, it is possible to discharge the water downward from the gap between the main body portion 24 of the water shield 20 and the downward extension surface 33. .
<Advantages of Waterproof Structure of Rear Lamp Unit 10 According to this Embodiment>
According to the waterproof structure of the rear lamp unit 10 according to the present embodiment, the water shield 20 is elastically deformed by being pushed by the high-pressure washing water blown from the parting gap S, and the lower extension surface 33 of the lamp mounting concave surface 32 of the body 30. The high-pressure washing water can be prevented from turning around in the rear direction of the rear lamp unit 10. For this reason, the high-pressure washing water blown from the parting gap S does not flow around to the rear surface of the rear lamp unit 10. Therefore, there is no problem that a part of the high-pressure washing water enters the inside of the rear lamp unit 10 from the connection portion between the rear opening 14b of the rear lamp unit 10 and the opening 32h of the lamp mounting concave surface 32.
Further, when the rear lamp unit 10 is fitted into the lamp mounting concave surface 32 of the body 30, the water shield 20 is brought into contact with the design surface 64e of the bumper 64 and elastically deformed so that the position of the upper side 64e of the bumper 64 is changed. It is configured to pass through. For this reason, even if the water shielding rod 20 is manufactured with a desired projecting dimension, when the rear lamp unit 10 is assembled to the lamp mounting concave surface 32 of the body 30, the water shielding rod 20 does not hinder the assembly.
In addition, since the main body 24 of the water barrier 20 is always bent at the same position when receiving the pressing force of the high-pressure washing water, the water blocking performance is made constant.
Further, when no external force is applied to the water shield 20, a gap is formed between the tip of the water shield 20 and the downward extension surface 33 of the lamp mounting concave surface 32. For this reason, for example, even if water adheres to the rear surface of the rear lamp unit 10, the water is not discharged from the gap between the water shield 20 and the downward extension surface 33 and accumulated.
