Definitions
- the measurement result is different from the current-voltage characteristics of the solar cell measured using a small solar simulator with higher accuracy. May result in an error. Such errors are particularly problematic when contrasting the measurement results of several solar cells with different light reflectivities. For example, two types of solar cells that originally exhibit the same photoelectric conversion characteristics are measured. Of course, in this case, the measured results should match if the photoelectric conversion characteristics of the measured solar cells are compared. However, if a solar simulator using a flat light source unit is used, for example, if two solar cells exhibiting the same photoelectric conversion characteristics have different light reflectances, the measurement results that should be the same are different. May end up.
- the present invention reduces the discrepancy between the measurement results of solar cells by a solar simulator that employs a flat light source, and makes it possible to contrast the photoelectric conversion characteristics of solar cells of various types and sizes. This contributes to facilitating quality control of the produced solar cell.
- re-reflection means that a part of the light emitted from the solar simulator toward the solar cell is reflected on the surface or inside of the solar cell, reverses its direction, and returns to the solar simulator side. It is a phenomenon that is reflected once again in the solar simulator and irradiated to the solar cell.
- the light by this re-reflection (hereinafter referred to as “re-reflected light”) becomes part of the light that irradiates the solar cell to be measured together with the light emitted from the flat light source unit by light emission. For this reason, the solar cell to be measured uses light including re-reflected light for power generation.
- the state of measurement of the current-voltage characteristic (IV characteristic) when there is re-reflection will be described in further detail.
- the re-reflection is effectively suppressed, so that the irradiance of the light irradiated by the solar simulator changes depending on the light reflectance and size of the solar cell to be measured. Therefore, it is possible to perform light irradiation with a controllability using a solar simulator for measuring the photoelectric conversion characteristics of the solar cell.
- the solar cell inspection apparatus 100 irradiates the light receiving surface 220 of the solar cell 200 located in the effective irradiation area 4 with the light 28 having a predetermined irradiance by the solar simulator 10. From the current-voltage characteristics of the solar cell 200 measured by the electrical measuring unit 30 in the state of being irradiated with this light, as a numerical index of the photoelectric conversion characteristics of the solar cell 200, for example, an open-circuit voltage value, a short-circuit current value, conversion efficiency, Numerical indices such as curve factors are required.
- An absorption layer 52 is provided in the gap between the point light sources 26 in the light source array 2.
- reflection light may be generated typically on the surface or the inside of the solar cell 200 and the top plate 48 made of, for example, glass. Upper and lower surfaces.
- FIG. 2A illustrates the reflected light 28 ⁇ / b> A reflected by the surface of the solar cell 200 and the reflected light 28 ⁇ / b> B reflected by the surface below the top plate 48. Regardless of the cause of the reflected light, most of the reflected light 28A and 28B returned to the solar simulator 10 side is absorbed by the absorption layer 52.
- the structure of the absorption part 5 for suppressing re-reflection is not limited to the absorption layer 52 arrange
- a configuration including the other absorption unit 5 will be described as a modification.
- FIG.3 (b) has shown the structure of 10A of solar simulators of the modification which changed the absorption part 5 in this embodiment.
- a substrate made of a light-transmitting material is employed as the substrate 2Y for the light source unit.
- a solar simulator or a solar cell inspection device that enables high-precision measurement in which measurement accuracy is not affected by the light reflectance and size of the solar cell. For this reason, it becomes possible to test
Abstract
