Abstract
Description
本発明は、日本国特許出願:特願2010-096769号(2010年4月20日出願)の優先権主張に基づくものであり、同出願の全記載内容は引用をもって本書に組み込み記載されているものとする。
本発明は、配信システム、配信制御装置及び配信制御方法に関し、特に、モバイルネットワークを介して、携帯電話、PC(Personal Computer)、ゲーム機などの端末に対し、動画、静止画、オーディオ、ソフトウェア、アプリケーションなどのコンテンツを配信する配信システム、配信制御装置及び配信制御方法に関する。
コンテンツ配信サーバから受信したパケットを転送する複数のパケット転送装置の少なくともいずれかにそれぞれ接続され、コンテンツを一時的に保持する複数のキャッシュサーバと、
前記複数のキャッシュサーバのそれぞれが保持しているコンテンツを表すコンテンツマップを蓄積するとともに、端末からコンテンツの要求を受けると、該端末の在圏情報に基づいて前記複数のキャッシュサーバの中から該端末に近いキャッシュサーバを抽出するとともに、抽出したキャッシュサーバに対し、該端末から要求されたコンテンツを送信するように指示する配信制御装置と、を備えている。
コンテンツ配信サーバから受信したパケットを転送する複数のパケット転送装置の少なくともいずれかにそれぞれ接続されコンテンツを一時的に保持する、複数のキャッシュサーバのそれぞれが保持しているコンテンツを表すコンテンツマップを蓄積するコンテンツマップ作成・蓄積部と、
端末からコンテンツの要求を受けると、該端末の在圏情報に基づいて前記複数のキャッシュサーバの中から該端末に近いキャッシュサーバを抽出するとともに、抽出したキャッシュサーバに対し、該端末から要求されたコンテンツを送信するように指示するコンテンツ取得指示部と、を備えている。
コンテンツ配信サーバから受信したパケットを転送する複数のパケット転送装置の少なくともいずれかにそれぞれ接続されコンテンツを一時的に保持する、複数のキャッシュサーバのそれぞれが保持しているコンテンツを表すコンテンツマップを、コンピュータの記憶装置に蓄積する工程と、
前記コンピュータが、端末からコンテンツの要求を受けると、該端末の在圏情報に基づいて前記複数のキャッシュサーバの中から該端末に近いキャッシュサーバを抽出する工程と、
前記抽出したキャッシュサーバに対し、前記端末から要求されたコンテンツを送信するように指示する工程と、を含む。
第1の実施形態に係る配信システムについて、図面を参照して説明する。図1は、本実施形態に係る配信システム10の構成を示すブロック図である。
第2の実施形態に係る配信システムの構成及び動作について、図2~図4を参照して説明する。
第3の実施形態に係る配信システムについて、図面を参照して説明する。
前記複数のキャッシュサーバのそれぞれが保持しているコンテンツを表すコンテンツマップを蓄積するとともに、端末からコンテンツの要求を受けると、該端末の在圏情報に基づいて前記複数のキャッシュサーバの中から該端末に近いキャッシュサーバを抽出するとともに、抽出したキャッシュサーバに対し、該端末から要求されたコンテンツを送信するように指示する配信制御装置と、を備えていることを特徴とする配信システム。
端末からコンテンツの要求を受けると、該端末の在圏情報に基づいて前記複数のキャッシュサーバの中から該端末に近いキャッシュサーバを抽出するとともに、抽出したキャッシュサーバに対し、該端末から要求されたコンテンツを送信するように指示するコンテンツ取得指示部と、を備えていることを特徴とする配信制御装置。
前記コンピュータが、端末からコンテンツの要求を受けると、該端末の在圏情報に基づいて前記複数のキャッシュサーバの中から該端末に近いキャッシュサーバを抽出する工程と、
前記抽出したキャッシュサーバに対し、前記端末から要求されたコンテンツを送信するように指示する工程と、を含むことを特徴とする配信制御方法。
端末からコンテンツの要求を受けると、該端末の在圏情報に基づいて前記複数のキャッシュサーバの中から該端末に近いキャッシュサーバを抽出する処理と、
前記端末から要求されたコンテンツを送信するように、前記抽出したキャッシュサーバに指示する処理と、をコンピュータに実行させることを特徴とするプログラム。

Claims (28)
- コンテンツ配信サーバから受信したパケットを転送する複数のパケット転送装置の少なくともいずれかにそれぞれ接続され、コンテンツを一時的に保持する複数のキャッシュサーバと、
前記複数のキャッシュサーバのそれぞれが保持しているコンテンツを表すコンテンツマップを蓄積するとともに、端末からコンテンツの要求を受けると、該端末の在圏情報に基づいて前記複数のキャッシュサーバの中から該端末に近いキャッシュサーバを抽出するとともに、抽出したキャッシュサーバに対し、該端末から要求されたコンテンツを送信するように指示する配信制御装置と、を備えていることを特徴とする配信システム。 - 前記配信制御装置は、前記抽出したキャッシュサーバが前記端末から要求されたコンテンツを保持していない場合には、前記抽出したキャッシュサーバに対し、他のキャッシュサーバからコンテンツを取得するように指示することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の配信システム。
- 前記配信制御装置は、前記抽出したキャッシュサーバ以外のキャッシュサーバも前記端末から要求されたコンテンツを保持していない場合には、前記抽出したキャッシュサーバに対し、前記コンテンツ配信サーバからコンテンツを取得するように指示することを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の配信システム。
- 前記配信制御装置は、前記抽出したキャッシュサーバへ前記端末をリダイレクトさせることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の配信システム。
- 前記配信制御装置は、前記抽出したキャッシュサーバのアドレスを前記端末に通知することを特徴とする、請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の配信システム。
- 前記配信制御装置は、前記複数のキャッシュサーバのうちの少なくもいずれか1つであるか、又は、前記複数のキャッシュサーバとは別個に設けられていることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載の配信システム。
- 前記複数のキャッシュサーバのうちの少なくともいずれか1つは、前記複数のパケット転送装置のうちの複数の装置に接続されていることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項に記載の配信システム。
- 前記複数のキャッシュサーバは、それぞれ、保持するコンテンツのリストを所定の時間間隔で前記配信制御装置に通知することを特徴とする、請求項1乃至7のいずれか1項に記載の配信システム。
- 前記複数のキャッシュサーバは、互いに接続されていることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至8のいずれか1項に記載の配信システム。
- 前記パケット転送装置は、モバイルパケットネットワークのSGSN(Serving General packet radio service Support Node)装置、GGSN(Gateway General packet radio service Support Node)装置若しくはxGSN(serving/gateway General packet radio service Support Node)装置、又は、モバイルEPC(Evolved Packet Core)ネットワークのS-GW(Serving Gateway)装置若しくはP-GW(Packet Data Network(PDN) Gateway)装置であることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至9のいずれか1項に記載の配信システム。
- 前記コンテンツは、動画、静止画、音声、オーディオ、ソフトウェア、アプリケーションのうちの少なくともいずれかを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1乃至10のいずれか1項に記載の配信システム。
- 前記端末は、携帯電話、スマートフォン、通信カードを搭載したPC、ゲーム機の少なくともいずれかを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1乃至11のいずれか1項に記載の配信システム。
- コンテンツ配信サーバから受信したパケットを転送する複数のパケット転送装置の少なくともいずれかにそれぞれ接続されコンテンツを一時的に保持する、複数のキャッシュサーバのそれぞれが保持しているコンテンツを表すコンテンツマップを蓄積するコンテンツマップ作成・蓄積部と、
端末からコンテンツの要求を受けると、該端末の在圏情報に基づいて前記複数のキャッシュサーバの中から該端末に近いキャッシュサーバを抽出するとともに、抽出したキャッシュサーバに対し、該端末から要求されたコンテンツを送信するように指示するコンテンツ取得指示部と、を備えていることを特徴とする配信制御装置。 - 前記コンテンツ取得指示部は、前記抽出したキャッシュサーバが前記端末から要求されたコンテンツを保持していない場合には、前記抽出したキャッシュサーバに対し、他のキャッシュサーバからコンテンツを取得するように指示することを特徴とする、請求項13に記載の配信制御装置。
- 前記コンテンツ取得指示部は、前記抽出したキャッシュサーバ以外のキャッシュサーバも前記端末から要求されたコンテンツを保持していない場合には、前記抽出したキャッシュサーバに対し、前記コンテンツ配信サーバからコンテンツを取得するように指示することを特徴とする、請求項14に記載の配信制御装置。
- 前記コンテンツ取得指示部は、前記抽出したキャッシュサーバへ前記端末をリダイレクトさせることを特徴とする、請求項13乃至15のいずれか1項に記載の配信制御装置。
- 前記コンテンツ取得指示部は、前記抽出したキャッシュサーバのアドレスを前記端末に通知することを特徴とする、請求項13乃至15のいずれか1項に記載の配信制御装置。
- コンテンツ配信サーバから受信したパケットを転送する複数のパケット転送装置の少なくともいずれかにそれぞれ接続されコンテンツを一時的に保持する、複数のキャッシュサーバのそれぞれが保持しているコンテンツを表すコンテンツマップを、コンピュータの記憶装置に蓄積する工程と、
前記コンピュータが、端末からコンテンツの要求を受けると、該端末の在圏情報に基づいて前記複数のキャッシュサーバの中から該端末に近いキャッシュサーバを抽出する工程と、
前記抽出したキャッシュサーバに対し、前記端末から要求されたコンテンツを送信するように指示する工程と、を含むことを特徴とする配信制御方法。 - 前記抽出したキャッシュサーバが前記端末から要求されたコンテンツを保持していない場合には、他のキャッシュサーバからコンテンツを取得するように、前記コンピュータが前記抽出したキャッシュサーバに指示する工程を含むことを特徴とする、請求項18に記載の配信制御方法。
- 前記抽出したキャッシュサーバ以外のキャッシュサーバも前記端末から要求されたコンテンツを保持していない場合には、前記コンテンツ配信サーバからコンテンツを取得するように、前記コンピュータが前記抽出したキャッシュサーバに指示する工程を含むことを特徴とする、請求項19に記載の配信制御方法。
- 前記コンピュータが、前記抽出したキャッシュサーバへ前記端末をリダイレクトさせる工程を含むことを特徴とする、請求項18乃至20のいずれか1項に記載の配信制御方法。
- 前記コンピュータが、前記抽出したキャッシュサーバのアドレスを前記端末に通知する工程を含むことを特徴とする、請求項18乃至20のいずれか1項に記載の配信制御方法。
- コンテンツ配信サーバから受信したパケットを転送する複数のパケット転送装置の少なくともいずれかにそれぞれ接続されコンテンツを一時的に保持する、複数のキャッシュサーバのそれぞれが保持しているコンテンツを表すコンテンツマップを、記憶装置に蓄積する処理と、
端末からコンテンツの要求を受けると、該端末の在圏情報に基づいて前記複数のキャッシュサーバの中から該端末に近いキャッシュサーバを抽出する処理と、
前記端末から要求されたコンテンツを送信するように、前記抽出したキャッシュサーバに指示する処理と、をコンピュータに実行させることを特徴とするプログラム。 - 前記抽出したキャッシュサーバが前記端末から要求されたコンテンツを保持していない場合には、他のキャッシュサーバからコンテンツを取得するように、前記抽出したキャッシュサーバに指示する処理を、コンピュータに実行させることを特徴とする、請求項23に記載のプログラム。
- 前記抽出したキャッシュサーバ以外のキャッシュサーバも前記端末から要求されたコンテンツを保持していない場合には、前記コンテンツ配信サーバからコンテンツを取得するように、前記抽出したキャッシュサーバに指示する処理を、コンピュータに実行させることを特徴とする、請求項24に記載のプログラム。
- 前記抽出したキャッシュサーバへ前記端末をリダイレクトさせる処理をコンピュータに実行させることを特徴とする、請求項23乃至25のいずれか1項に記載のプログラム。
- 前記抽出したキャッシュサーバのアドレスを前記端末に通知する処理をコンピュータに実行させることを特徴とする、請求項23乃至25のいずれか1項に記載のプログラム。
- 請求項23乃至27のいずれか1項に記載のプログラムが記録されていることを特徴とする、コンピュータ読み取り可能な記録媒体。
