ここで,コンテンツの割り当て領域は,端末の表示部32に表示されるコンテンツの画像を含む領域であることが好ましい。
また,電子書籍サーバ12は,アイコンに関する情報を端末から受信した場合に,情報更新部24により,端末12から受信したアイコンに関連して合計数値記憶部56に記憶されているアイコン数値の合計数値を更新し,サーバの送信部25を介して,端末12に対し,情報更新部24により更新されたアイコンの合計数値を表示するための情報を送信することが好ましい。
合計数値記憶部56に記憶された合計数値の閾値とともに,画像データを記憶する画像データ記憶部58と,
情報更新部24により更新された合計数値が,画像データ記憶部58に記憶されている閾値を超えた場合に,端末11の表示部32に閾値を超えた画像データを表示するための情報を,端末11に対して送信する画像データ送信部59を有する
ことが好ましい。
たとえば,サーバ運営者が,スキャナの撮影部に書籍のある頁を押し当てる。そして,スキャナを駆動する。すると,スキャナの撮影部が,書籍のある頁をスキャニングして,書籍の頁画像を得る。そして,スキャナが得た書籍の頁画像は,電子書籍サーバへ送信され,頁画像取込み部51が,受け取った書籍の頁画像を電子書籍記憶部21に記憶する。この際,サーバ運営者は,サーバに取り込んだ頁に関する情報を入力し,電子書籍記憶部21が入力された情報を記憶してもよい。取り込んだ頁に関する情報の例は,その頁が含まれる書籍のタイトル,ページ数,及びジャンルである。
端末11のユーザがカメラ53で書籍のある頁を撮影する。そして,端末の送信部35は,カメラ53で撮影したある書籍のある頁の画像データを電子書籍サーバ12に送信する。そして,電子書籍サーバ12は,端末11が送信した頁の画像データを受け取る。電子書籍サーバ12は,受け取った画像データを解析し,電子書籍記憶部21に記憶したいずれの頁であるか判断する。この際,上記した電子書籍データの作成と同様の処理を行って受信した頁に含まれるコンテンツを認識し,コンテンツの種類及びコンテンツの表示領域に関する情報を用いて,電子書籍記憶部21に記憶した頁とのマッチングを行ってもよい。その際,複数のコンテンツの種類及び位置関係に関する情報を用いて,頁のマッチングを行えばよい。そして,電子書籍サーバ12は,マッチングしたページに関する情報を用いて,電子書籍記憶部21から,受信した頁に関する情報を読み出す。この頁に関する情報には,端末11に電子書籍のある頁を表示させるための情報が含まれている。この情報には,アイコンやコメントが含まれていてもよい。この情報には,さらに,コンテンツの割り当て領域に関する情報が含まれていてもよい。
上記のようにして端末11の表示部にある書籍のある頁に関する画像が表示される。この画像は,1又は複数のコンテンツを含む。そして,表示部には表示されないが,各コンテンツには,領域が割り当てられている。たとえば,表示部がタッチパネルの場合は,気になるコンテンツ(たとえば,衣服)の画像をタッチすると,そのコンテンツが指示される。コンテンツが指示された場合,ツイッター(登録商標)などのコメント入力欄が表示部に表示される。そして,ユーザが入力部を介して,コメント入力欄に文字を書き入れる。すると,端末11には,あるコンテンツと関連したコメントが入力されることとなる。ユーザがコンテンツを送信することを決めた場合,表示部に表示される送信ボタンを選択する。すると,端末11は,送信指示が入力される。そして,端末11は,ユーザのID及びあるコンテンツに関する情報とともに,コメントを電子書籍サーバ12へ送信する。このコメントは,ツイッター(登録商標)におけるツイートとしてツイッター(登録商標)サイトへ転送されてもよい。
電子書籍サーバ12は,端末11から送信された,ユーザのID及びあるコンテンツに関する情報(コンテンツの識別情報)とともに,コメントを受信する。すると,電子書籍サーバ12は受信したコメントを電子書籍記憶部21に記憶させ,電子書籍データを更新する。この際,あるコンテンツの識別情報と関連して,コメント及びコメントを提供したユーザのIDをも記憶する。なお,電子書籍記憶部21は,そのコメントの閲覧回数をも更新するものが好ましい。
本発明のシステムを実装する端末11は,端末11の表示部にコンテンツが表示される場合であって,そのコンテンツに関するコメントが存在する場合は,何らかのアイコンが表示部に表示されるモードを選択できる。このモードが選択された場合,電子書籍のある頁が表示部に表示されるとともに,コンテンツの画像に重畳してアイコンが表示される。アイコンは,コンテンツに関連したコメントがある場合にのみ表示されるものであってもよい。
ユーザ情報記憶部43は,ユーザのID及びユーザのアバターを含む。ユーザ情報記憶部43は,ユーザの顔写真又は顔画像を記憶してもよい。さらに,ユーザ情報記憶部43は,ユーザの性別,身長,体型,スリーサイズ,体重,似顔絵,所有する衣服の写真,衣服の画像,既に購入した衣服の画像,及びアクセサリー画像のうちいずれか1つ以上を記憶してもよい。そして,着衣画像生成部55は,ユーザのIDを用いて,ユーザ情報記憶部43からユーザのアバター情報を読み出す。そして,コンテンツとして指定された衣服をユーザが着衣した様子を示すように加工する。この加工は,たとえば,体型に合わせて画像を部分的に拡張又は縮小させる処理を行えばよい。そして,たとえば,着衣画像生成部55は,指定された衣服をユーザが着衣した様子を示す画像を生成する。そして,得られた画像を端末11に送信する。すると,たとえば,コンテンツ61に重畳して,そのコンテンツ61を着衣したアバターが表示される。
以下,具体的に,本発明の他の実施形態の構成を説明する。
アイコン選択部57は,表示部32に表示された複数のアイコンの中から,コンテンツ指定部33が指定したコンテンツに関するアイコンを選択する手段である。電子書籍サーバ12から複数のコンテンツに関する情報を受信すると,端末11の表示部32には,電子書籍に関する情報とともに,例えば図11に示すような複数のアイコンの中から任意のアイコンを選択することを促す表示がされる。そして,アイコン選択部57は,コンテンツ指定部33によって指定したコンテンツに関連して,複数のアイコンの中から任意のアイコンを選択する処理を行う。
端末11の送信部35は,端末の入力部34が入力したコンテンツに関する指示とコメント,及びアイコン選択部57が選択したアイコンを,電子書籍サーバ12に送信する。
図6は,本発明のある実施態様(コンピュータ)を示すブロック図である。この実施態様は,コンピュータグラフィックスによるコンピュータ(グラフィック用コンピュータなど)に関する。図6に示されるとおり,このコンピュータ101は,中央演算装置(CPU)102,ジオメトリ演算回路103などのジオメトリ演算部,レンダラー104などの描画部,テクスチャ生成回路105などのテクスチャ生成部,照光処理回路107などの照光処理部,表示回路108などの表示情報作成部,フレームバッファ109,及びモニター110を具備する。これらの要素は,バスなどにより接続され,相互にデータを伝達できる。そのほか,図示しないメインメモリや,各種テーブル,ワーク領域となるワークメモリ111,テクスチャを格納するテクスチャメモリ112などを具備する記憶部などを有しても良い。各部を構成するハードウェアは,例えばバスなどを介して連結されている。なお,記憶部は,VRAMなどのRAMや,CR-ROM,DVD,ハードディスクなどにより構成されても良い。
以下,コンピュータを用いて画像を生成する動作例を説明する。CPU102は,ワークメモリ111から,ポリゴンデータを読出し,ポリゴンデータをジオメトリ演算回路103へ出力する。ジオメトリ演算回路103は,入力されたポリゴンデータに対して,視点を原点とする視点座標系のデータに座標変換するなどの処理を行う。ジオメトリ演算回路103は,処理したポリゴンデータを,レンダラー104へ出力する。レンダラー104は,ポリゴン単位のデータをピクセル単位のデータに変換する。レンダラー104とテクスチャ生成回路105は,テクスチャメモリ112に記憶されるテクスチャデータに基づき,ピクセル単位のテクスチャカラーを生成する。テクスチャ生成回路105は,テクスチャカラー情報を有するピクセル単位のデータを,照光処理回路107へ出力する。照光処理回路107は,テクスチャカラー情報を有するポリゴンに対し,ピクセル単位で法線ベクトル,重心座標などを利用して陰影付けを行う。照光処理回路107は,陰影付けした画像データを,表示回路108へ出力する。表示回路108は,照光処理回路107から入力された画像データをフレームバッファ109に書き込み,またフレームバッファ109に書き込まれた画像データを読み出し,表示画像情報を得る。また,このとき同時にエッジバッファ等の情報を用いることで,2D/3Dの合成処理を行うことができる。表示回路108は,表示画像情報をモニター110へ出力する。モニター110は,入力された表示画像情報にしたがって,コンピュータグラフィックス画像を表示する。
図7は,本発明のある実施形態(ゲーム機)のブロック図である。このブロック図で表される実施形態は,特に携帯用,家庭用又は業務用のゲーム機として好適に利用されうる。そこで,以下では,ゲーム機として説明する。なお,同図に示されるゲーム機は,少なくとも処理部200を含めばよく(又は処理部200と記憶部270,又は処理部200と記憶部270と情報記憶媒体280を含んでもよく),それ以外のブロック(例えば操作部260,表示部290,音出力部292,携帯型情報記憶装置294,通信部296)については,任意の構成要素とすることができる。
システムの電源がONになると,情報記憶媒体280に格納される情報の一部又は全部は,例えば,記憶部270に転送される。そして,ゲーム処理用のプログラムが,例えばメインメモリ272に格納され,様々なデータが,テクスチャ記憶部276や,図示しないテーブルなどに格納される。
図8は,本発明のある実施形態(コンピュータグラフィック機能つき携帯電話機)のブロック図である。このブロック図で表される実施形態は,特に3次元コンピュータグラフィック機能つき携帯電話機,特にゲーム機能付携帯電話や,ナビゲーション機能付形態電話として好適に利用されうる。
まず,音声による通信動作について説明する。例えば音声入力部227に入力された音声は,インターフェイスによりデジタル情報に変換され,制御部221によって,所定の処理が施され,無線通信機能部223から無線信号として出力される。また,相手の音情報を受信する場合は,無線通信機能部223が無線信号を受信し,所定の変換処理が施された後,制御部221の制御を受けて,音声出力部228から出力される。

電子書籍の頁画像,前記電子書籍に含まれるコンテンツ,前記コンテンツの割り当て領域,及び前記コンテンツと関連したコメントを記憶する電子書籍記憶部(21)と,
前記端末(11)から送信された情報を受信する電子書籍サーバの受信部(22)と,
前記電子書籍サーバの受信部(22)が受信した情報に基づいて,前記電子書籍記憶部(21)に記憶された電子書籍に関する情報を読み出す,読出し処理部(23)と,
前記電子書籍サーバの受信部(22)が受信した情報に基づいて,前記電子書籍記憶部(21)が記憶する情報を更新する情報更新部(24)と,
前記読出し処理部(23)が読み出した1又は複数のコンテンツを含む電子書籍に関する情報を前記端末(11)へ送信する電子書籍サーバの送信部(25)とを有し,
