Abstract
본 발명은 초음파 프로브에 관한 것으로, 초음파의 신호 세기를 증가시키면서 초음파의 파형 특성도 함께 향상시킬 수 있는 압전 세라믹의 양면에 음향정합층이 형성된 초음파 프로브를 제공하기 위한 것이다. 본 발명에 따르면, 후면 블록의 상부에 후면 음향 정합층이 형성된다. 압전 세라믹은 후면 음향 정합층의 상부에 형성된다. 전면 음향 정합층은 압전 세라믹의 상부에 형성된다. 그리고 음향 렌즈는 전면 음향 정합층의 상부에 형성된다. 특히 후면 음향 정합층은 후면 블록으로 전파되는 초음파를 음향 렌즈 쪽으로 반사시켜 사용함으로써, 초음파의 신호 세기를 증가시키고 후면 음향 정합층으로부터 원하지 않는 반사는 제거하여 일반적으로 압전 세라믹과 음향 임피던스 차이를 크게하여 반사되는 신호를 크게하는 구조와 달리 초음파의 파형 특성도 함께 향상시킬 수 있다. 이때 전면 및 후면 음향 정합층은 적어도 한 층 이상으로 형성될 수 있다.
