Abstract

밀리미터파 대역에서 지향성 안테나를 사용하여 광대역 근거리 무선 통신을 수행하는 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로서, 일실시예에 따른 광대역 근거리 무선 통신 방법은 소스노드와 릴레이노드 간의 링크 품질, 상기 릴레이노드와 상기 목적노드 간의 링크 품질 및 상기 소스노드와 상기 목적노드 간의 링크 품질에 기초하여, 릴레이 동작 타입(type)의 변경을 결정하고, 상기 릴레이 동작 타입의 변경이 결정되면, 릴레이 동작 변경 요청(Relay Operation Change request, ROC request) 메시지를 전송하며, 상기 릴레이 동작 변경 요청 메시지에 대응하는 릴레이 동작 변경 응답(Relay Operation Change response, ROC response) 메시지를 수신한다.
