Abstract

L'invention porte sur un dispositif actif qui permet d'empêcher une réflexion interne de lumière provenant de l'extérieur, et même de corriger un déplacement de chrominance de lumière d'affichage provenant d'un panneau d'affichage. De la lumière polarisée linéairement (2), provenant d'un panneau d'affichage à cristaux liquides (30), est convertie en lumière polarisée circulairement (3) au niveau d'un film à différence de phase de λ/4 (13), convertie en lumière polarisée linéairement (4) au niveau d'un film à différence de phase de λ/4 (15) d'un côté supérieur, puis est transmise à travers un film polarisant (21). De la lumière entrant de l'extérieur est convertie en lumière polarisée circulairement (8) au niveau du film à différence de phase de λ/4 (15) du côté supérieur, est réfléchie au niveau d'une couche conductrice de partie inférieure (14), ce par quoi le sens de rotation de la lumière polarisée circulairement est inversé, et passe à travers le film à différence de phase de λ/4 (15) du côté supérieur pour devenir de la lumière polarisée linéairement (10). L'axe optique de la lumière polarisée linéairement (10) est perpendiculaire à l'axe de transmission du film polarisant (21), ce par quoi la lumière polarisée linéairement (10) ne peut pas retourner vers l'extérieur. Une couche de correction de couleur (22) contenant un pigment ou un colorant est placée sur un côté plus externe que le film polarisant (21). En choisissant le pigment ou le colorant et en ajustant sa quantité, même si le film polarisant a une incidence sur la lumière d'affichage en couleur, il est possible d'en corriger la chrominance.
