Abstract
본 발명은 소정 형상의 수평 단면을 가지는 집전체 및 상기 집전체의 표면에 형성된 활물질층을 포함하고, 길이 방향으로 연장되며 평행하게 배치되는 전극을 구비하는 케이블형 이차전지의 제조방법으로서, 상기 전극은, 활물질, 고분자바인더 및 용매를 압출기에 주입하여 전극슬러리를 제조하는 단계; 상기 압출기에 상기 집전체를 연속적으로 공급하면서, 집전체의 표면에 전극슬러리를 압출하여 코팅하는 단계; 및 상기 전극슬러리가 코팅된 집전체를 건조하여 활물질층을 형성하는 단계를 포함한다. 본 발명의 압출코팅을 이용한 케이블형 이차전지의 제조방법은 집전체에 전극슬러리의 연속적인 코팅이 가능하므로, 길이방향으로 연장되는 케이블형 이차전지의 제조에 적합하여 생산성이 증대된다. 또한, 집전체의 선속 내지 전극슬러리의 압출속도를 조정하여 코팅층의 두께 조절이 용이하다.
