Abstract

본 발명에 의하면 차량용 블랙박스에서의 영상 녹화 제어 장치 및 방법이 제공된다. 본 발명에 의한 차량용 블랙박스에서의 영상 녹화 제어 방법은, 예를 들어, 차량 주행에 대한 영상을 저장하는 단계; 상기 차량의 사고 발생 가능성을 획득하는 단계; 및 상기 획득된 사고 발생 가능성의 정도에 따라, 상기 카메라 영상의 화질, 해상도 및 프레임 수 중 어느 하나 이상을 가변 조절하는 단계로 구성될 수 있다. 이와 같은 구성을 채택함으로써, 상기 스토리지의 한정된 저장 용량을 보다 효율적으로 사용할 수 있게 되며, 또한, 차량 사고 발생 원인을 보다 정확하게 판별할 수 있게 되므로, 차량용 블랙박스의 감시 및 저장 성능을 향상시킬 수 있게 된다.
