Abstract

La présente invention concerne un module d'entraînement pour un véhicule automobile sous forme d'une transmission à variation continue à division de puissance avec un rapport de démultiplication fixe (4), un variateur (5) et un engrenage planétaire (6) qui est disposé entre un moteur, notamment un moteur à combustion interne (1), et un arbre de prise de force (7). Une roue volante (3) désaccouplable est intégrée dans le module d'entraînement et, dans des phases de ralentissement du véhicule automobile, accumule l'énergie cinétique et la restitue à la chaîne cinématique lors de l'accélération suivante.
