Description

Automatic warehouse system, fire extinguishing unit, and fire extinguishing method for automatic warehouse
This invention relates to fire extinguishing in an automatic warehouse system.
The applicant has proposed that a fire extinguishing device is mounted on a stacker crane that runs in an automatic warehouse, and that fire extinguishing agent such as carbon dioxide is injected from the nozzle to the ignition location to extinguish the fire (Patent Document 1: Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. H09). -150911A). Unlike chemical fire extinguishing agents such as powder, carbon dioxide does not contaminate automatic warehouses, and unlike water, it does not short circuit electrical wiring. And since carbon dioxide is heavier than air, it stays in the fire and extinguishes the fire.
However, a large amount of carbon dioxide is required to ensure fire fighting. The size of the carbon dioxide tank that can be transported by the stacker crane is limited by the size of the load that can be transported. For this reason, there is a possibility that reliable fire fighting cannot be performed. The same applies to extinguishing agents other than carbon dioxide.

In the automatic warehouse fire extinguishing method of the present invention, in order to extinguish a fire in the frontage in an automatic warehouse equipped with at least one shelf having a plurality of frontage and a transport device that travels along the shelf,
Both the upper and lower sides of the shelf front are incombustible or incombustible ceilings or floors, the left and right sides and the back are incombustible or incombustible walls,
A fire extinguisher tank and a nozzle, a lid member that covers a shelf opening of the shelf and allows injection of the fire extinguishing agent from the nozzle to the mouth opening side, a fire extinguishing unit, and a position and a mouth opening of the lid member on the conveying device side The advancing and retreating device that advances and retreats between the position that covers the side, transports the fire extinguishing unit with the transport device in the event of a fire,
The fire extinguishing agent is injected from the nozzle into the fired frontage, and the lid member restricts the leakage of the fire extinguishing agent from the frontage and the inflow of air into the frontage.
In this invention, the frontage is surrounded by a fireproof wall or the like except for the front surface, so that it is difficult to spread the fire, and the entrance and exit of air is restricted to the front side. And if the cover member of the fire extinguishing unit is advanced to the front side where the fire is ignited to cover the front side, the entry and exit of air can be restricted or blocked. In addition, it is possible to limit escape from the mouth while the fire extinguishing agent fired. For this reason, even a small amount of fire extinguisher can reliably extinguish the fire.
It is preferable to increase or reduce the area of the lid member in the vertical plane and to cover or block the air flow by covering the ignition opening. Therefore, preferably, the signal of the baggage protrusion detection sensor is invalidated when the fire extinguishing unit is transported. In this way, a large lid member can be transported without being restricted by the load sensor.
In order to enlarge the lid member, it is preferable to provide an extension device for extending the lid member in the vertical plane in the fire extinguishing unit. In other words, if the lid member extends to cover the frontage, the entry and exit of air can be further blocked, so that the fire can be more reliably extinguished with a limited amount of extinguishing agent. Preferably, the lid member includes a main body and at least one extending piece disposed on a peripheral edge of the main body, and the extending device places the at least one extending piece at least vertically downward with respect to the lid member. Extend.
∙ With fire extinguishing agents such as carbon dioxide, the effect of covering the luggage to be extinguished is unlikely to be sustained, and there is a risk of the fire once being extinguished. Therefore, it is preferable to use a water tank or a fire extinguishing agent jetting device such as carbon dioxide or halon gas, or a sprinkler that jets water, and store the fired articles so that they are cooled to below the firing temperature while preventing recurrence. Provide a frontage. Then, after extinguishing the fire opening, the fire extinguishing unit is returned to the shelf, and then the fired baggage is transported to a dedicated front door, so that it is possible to prevent relapse. In the case of providing a fire extinguishing agent jetting device or a sprinkler, it is preferable to provide a shutter to close the front surface of the dedicated frontage.
The fire extinguishing unit according to the present invention includes a tank and a nozzle for a fire extinguishing agent, a lid member that covers an opening of a shelf and allows the injection of the fire extinguishing agent from the nozzle, and a side that covers the position and the opening of the lid member on the conveying device side It is a unit that can be transported by a transporting device, and includes an advancing / retreating device that moves forward and backward with respect to the position. The lid advancement / retraction device may use a transfer device of the transport device. However, when the lid is provided in the fire extinguishing unit, the lid can be advanced / retreated only by the fire extinguishing unit without controlling the transport device. In the fire-extinguishing unit according to the present invention, since the front opening ignited by the lid member can be covered, the entry and exit of air is restricted or blocked, and the fire can be reliably extinguished even with a small amount of fire-extinguishing agent.
Preferably, the fire extinguishing unit further includes an extending device for extending the lid member in the vertical plane. Particularly preferably, the lid member includes a main body and at least one extending piece disposed on a peripheral edge of the main body, and the extending device places the at least one extending piece at least vertically downward with respect to the lid member. Extend.

The following is an optimum embodiment for carrying out the present invention. The scope of the present invention should be determined according to the understanding of those skilled in the art based on the description of the scope of the claims, taking into account the description of the specification and well-known techniques in this field.
1 to 8 show an embodiment and its modifications. FIG. 1 shows a main part of an automatic warehouse system 2 according to the embodiment. Reference numeral 4 denotes a stacker crane, which may be another transport device in a warehouse, and includes a mast 9 and raises and lowers a lifting platform 10. Reference numeral 5 denotes a travel rail of the stacker crane 4, and 6 denotes a travel space. For example, a pair of racks 7 are provided on both the left and right sides of the traveling rail 5, and a station or the like (not shown) is provided in addition to this.
In FIG. 1, a fire extinguishing unit 12 is placed on a slide fork 11 of an elevator 10 and includes, for example, a pair of fire extinguishing agent tanks 14 and 14. The extinguishing agent is not only carbon dioxide but also foam extinguishing agent, nitrogen gas, powder. A fire extinguisher may be used. Since carbon dioxide is stored in the extinguishant tank 14 as a liquid and is heavier than air, it is difficult for the carbon dioxide to rise due to the updraft accompanying ignition. For this reason, the ascending air current in the frontage is weakened, oxygen in the air entering from the front of the frontage is shut off, and the cargo ignited by the heat of vaporization caused by vaporization is cooled. Carbon dioxide is preferable because it does not contaminate the frontage 8. The preferred fire extinguishing agent next to carbon dioxide is halon gas. Reference numeral 16 denotes a valve provided in the tank 14, 18 denotes a valve for controlling whether the nozzle is ejected from the left or right, and 20 and 20 denote a pair of lid members provided on both the left and right sides of the fire extinguishing unit 12. In this specification, the left and right are directions perpendicular to the traveling direction of the stacker crane 4 in the horizontal plane. Reference numeral 21 denotes a battery, which is a power source for the fire extinguishing unit 12, and 22 is a fire extinguishing unit control unit that controls the fire extinguishing unit 12. Reference numeral 24 denotes an extending device that extends the lid member 20 along the vertical direction and the traveling direction, and particularly extends downward in the vertical direction. Reference numeral 11 denotes a transfer device such as a slide fork.
The rack 7 is provided with a shelf holder 30, 31 is a pillar, 32 is a fire sensor, for example, is provided on the ceiling portion of the fireproof floor 37, and is constituted by a heat sensor or a smoke sensor. 35 is a fire wall on the back side, and 36 is fire walls on the left and right sides. The fire- resistant walls 35 and 36 and the fire-resistant floor 37 are made of, for example, a non-combustible material such as iron plate, concrete, slate, gypsum board, heat-resistant glass, or a fire-resistant material such as fire-treated wood, fire-resistant resin, By using the fire walls 35 and 36 and the fire floor 37, each frontage 8 is made airtight except for the traveling space 6 side. Three sides are surrounded by fireproof walls 35 and 36, and the upper and lower sides are surrounded by a fireproof floor 37, and the space where only the front surface is opened is the frontage 8 and each rack 7 and 8 has a plurality of frontage 8 each in the frontage 8 There is a shelf holder 30.
The automatic warehouse system 2 stores luggage that may ignite, such as lithium ion batteries. Reference numeral 34 denotes a charging coupler. When storing a lithium ion battery in the automatic warehouse system 2, for example, the charging coupler 34 is initially charged, then stored for a certain period of time, discharged by the stacker crane 4, and the voltage of the battery is inspected. . The charging coupler 34 may be provided only at the front opening for initial charging or may be provided at all front openings. During this time, thermally unstable batteries can ignite. The rack 7 is provided with an opening for storing the fire extinguishing unit 12, and a charging coupler for charging the battery 21 is also provided at the opening.
2 and 3 show the lid member 20. Reference numeral 40 denotes a main body of the lid member. Reference numeral 42 denotes an overlapping portion where the extending pieces 41 and 41 overlap. Reference numeral 44 denotes a nozzle that injects a fire extinguishing agent such as carbon dioxide into the front opening that ignites toward the extended piece 41 as indicated by the white arrow in FIG. This is to close the gap between the frontage and the lid member 20 with a fire extinguishing agent. The black arrow in FIG. 2 is the direction of movement of the extension piece 41. Reference numeral 46 denotes a lens, for example, a lens of an optical fiber camera, which sends an image in the frontage to a camera provided in the fire extinguishing unit control unit via an optical fiber 48 shown in FIG. Reference numeral 47 in FIG. 3 is a pipe made of bellows, which supplies a fire extinguishing agent to the nozzle 44.
FIG. 3 shows an extending device for the extending piece 41 and an advancing / retreating device 50 for the lid member 20. The advance / retreat apparatus 50 is composed of, for example, a combination of a ball screw and a nut, a fluid pressure cylinder, or another link mechanism. Note that the right lid member and the left lid member of the fire extinguishing unit advance and retreat independently. The extending piece 41 is advanced by a cylinder 52, 53 is a piston, 54 is a spring, and applies a force in a direction to retract the extending piece 41. Reference numeral 55 denotes a linear guide, which supplies a fluid from a pipe (not shown) to the cylinder 52, advances the piston 53, guides it with the guide 55, and extends the extending piece 41 in the direction of the black arrow in FIG. Here, since there is an overlapping portion 42 between the extending pieces 41, 41, when extending as shown in FIG. When carbon dioxide as a fire extinguishing agent is supplied from the tank 14 to the fluid pressure cylinder and the lid member 50 is advanced and returned by a spring (not shown), the lid member 50 is automatically moved by the spring when the extinguishing agent is completely ejected. Return. Similarly, when carbon dioxide is supplied from the tank 14 to the cylinder 52 and returned by the spring 54, the extended piece 41 returns when the extinguishing agent is exhausted.
What is particularly important in fire extinguishing is that the extinguishing agent in the frontage does not leak from the gap between the main body 40 and the refractory floor 37 and the air does not enter the frontage. Therefore, the extending piece 41 extends at least vertically downward, preferably extends vertically downward and both left and right sides, and most preferably extends four times as in the embodiment.
FIG. 4 shows a cover member 58 according to a modification, wherein 60 is a cylinder, 62 is a crank, 63 is a shaft of the cylinder 60, and 61 is a rotation center of the cylinder 60. Reference numeral 64 denotes a linear guide, which guides an arm 65 attached to the main body 40, and 66 denotes a stopper. Here, when the shaft 63 is advanced from the cylinder 60, the arm 65 is guided by the linear guide 64, and the main body 40 advances. When the shaft 63 further advances and the stopper 66 comes into contact with the linear guide 64, the crank 62 rotates and the extending piece 41 extends around the four circumferences of the main body 40. In FIG. 4, the upper and lower extending pieces 41, 41 are shown, but an extending piece (not shown) is provided at the front and depth of FIG. 4 by linking to the crank 62.
FIG. 5 shows a lid member 67 of a second modification. 2 to 4, the nozzle 44 is integrated with the lid members 20 and 58, but the lid member 67 of FIG. 5 is provided with an opening 68, and a fire extinguishing agent is injected from the nozzle 69 through the opening 68. The other points are the same as those of the embodiment of FIGS.
In extinguishing the fire, it is important to cover the entrance of the shelf with the lid member 20 to prevent the entry and exit of air and the leakage of the extinguishing agent. For this reason, in the embodiment and the modification shown in FIGS. 2 to 5, the extending piece 41 is extended in four directions of the lid member 20. Another possibility is to use a fire extinguishing unit with a lid member that is larger than the normal height and width of the load and invalidate the load size detection on the stacker crane. FIG. 6 shows the height H, width W, and depth D of the load 70. Since the lid member having a large height and a wide width is required, the size detection in the height direction H and the width direction W in FIG. 6 is invalidated. To. Note that the stacker crane monitors the size of the load with a size sensor such as a photoelectric sensor. Here, the width is the width in the traveling direction of the stacker crane. The size detection in the depth direction may or may not be invalidated. Furthermore, both of the extending device for the lid member and disabling the size detection of the load by the stacker crane may be used, or only one of them may be used.
¡Extinguishing agents such as carbon dioxide, halon gas, or nitrogen gas do not contaminate the rack, but the effect of covering the ignited luggage 70 is not maintained, and there is a risk of fire. FIG. 7 shows an aquarium shelf 72 for cooling the luggage 70. Reference numeral 74 denotes a lifter that raises and lowers the shelf support 76. The stacker crane extinguishes the fired luggage 70, and then stores the fire-extinguishing unit on the original shelf or an appropriate nearby shelf. Next, the fired luggage 70 is conveyed to the water tank shelf 72 and transferred from the opening 77 to the shelf receiver 76 supported by the lifter 74. Thereafter, the load 70 is lowered by the lifter 74 and immersed in water in the water tank shelf 72 to completely extinguish the fire. Instead of providing the water tank shelf 72, for example, a dedicated shelf provided with an ejection device or sprinkler such as carbon dioxide and a shutter for keeping airtightness is provided, fire extinguished luggage is carried into this shelf and the shutter is closed, Carbon dioxide or the like may be ejected and stored until the luggage is cooled below the ignition temperature.
Fig. 8 shows the control system of the embodiment. The signal from the fire sensor 32 is sent to the fire detection unit 80, and the ground control unit 82 of the automatic warehouse system instructs the stacker crane upper control unit 90 to travel to the frontage where the fire has occurred. The ground control unit 82 instructs the fire extinguishing unit control unit 22 to take an image in the frontage with a camera 92 using an optical fiber or the like. When the stacker crane arrives at the entrance where a fire has occurred, an image from the camera is displayed on the monitor 83 and a switch relating to the operation of the fire extinguishing unit is displayed on the touch panel 84. On the other hand, the fire extinguishing control unit 85, the crane control unit 86, the water tank shelf control unit 88, the station control unit 87, and the like are operated by an operator's input, for example. The fire extinguishing work may be automatically executed without waiting for the operator's instruction.
The fire extinguishing control unit 85 operates the valves 16 and 18 and the nozzle 44 via the fire extinguishing unit control unit 22 to instruct which fire extinguishing agent is to be injected from either the left or right nozzle. Further, an image in the frontage is taken by the camera 92, the left or right lid member is advanced or retracted by the advance / retreat apparatus 50, and the extension piece is extended by the extension apparatus 24. While the fire is occurring, the worker advances the lid member toward the mouth, operates the extension device, and jets a fire extinguishing agent such as carbon dioxide from the nozzle. Since the lens of the camera 92 is attached to the lid member, the situation in the frontage can be displayed on the monitor 83 during this period. In addition to this, the status of smoke or temperature can be displayed on the monitor 83 from the fire sensor at the front of the fire.
Since the front, top and bottom, and both sides of the frontage are airtightly surrounded by a fire wall or fire floor, the opening is only the front. The front face of the frontage is covered with a lid member, and although the size of the main body of the lid member is smaller than the frontage, the extension piece 41 extends in four directions, so that the opening of the frontage can be covered almost completely. In this state, when a fire extinguisher is injected into the frontage, and particularly when a fire extinguisher is injected around the gap between the extension piece and the frontage, the entrance and exit of air into the frontage is blocked, and the fire can be extinguished.
After extinguishing the inside of the frontage on the image of the monitor 83, the extinguishing agent is continuously sprayed, and the lid member is moved backward after the fired luggage is cooled. Next, the fire extinguishing unit is returned to the shelf dedicated to the fire extinguishing unit, for example, or returned to an appropriate shelf nearby, and then the ignited baggage is transported to a water tank shelf or the like and completely extinguished. In addition, replace the fire extinguishing unit tank or refill with extinguishing agent. It is not necessary to provide a fire fighting shelf such as a water tank shelf.
In the embodiment, the following effects can be obtained.
(1) Luggage that can ignite, such as lithium-ion batteries under inspection, can be stored safely.
(2) Covering the five surfaces except the front of the frontage with a fireproof floor that also serves as a fireproof wall and a fireproof ceiling, and covering the remaining one with a lid member, it is possible to restrict or block the entry and exit of air to the frontage that ignites.
(3) Since the lid member is advanced to the frontage side by the advance / retreat device, the gap between the frontage and the lid member can be made extremely small.
(4) In this state, fire extinguishing agent is sprayed to the frontage side, so that leakage of extinguishing agent from the frontage is limited, and the fire can be completely extinguished with a small amount of extinguishing agent.
(5) Disabling the detection of the luggage size of the lifting platform with a stacker crane can transport large lid members, and as a result, the amount of air entering and exiting the frontage is reduced, and the extinguishing agent remains in the frontage. Easy to do.
(6) When the lid member is extended, the frontage can be more completely closed and the fire can be extinguished more easily.
(7) By taking a picture of the situation of the frontage that was ignited by the camera, the situation of the fire can be accurately displayed on the monitor.
(8) Providing a frontage dedicated to preventing recurrence, such as a frontage equipped with a water tank, can completely prevent fires that have been extinguished once again.
In the embodiment, the advancing / retreating device 50 is provided in the fire extinguishing unit 12, but the slide fork 11 may advance the entire fire extinguishing unit toward the front side.
