Description

TRAMPA RETENEDORA DE OLORES, PARA ORINALES EXENTOS DE AGUA Y DE OTROS  Odor RETAINING TRAP, FOR EXTENSIVE WATER AND OTHER POTS
LÍQUIDOS  LIQUIDS
CAMPO TÉCNICO DE LA INVENCIÓN TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
ANTECEDENTES DE LA INVENCIÓN The present invention relates to urinals that do not use water, specifically in a trap that prevents the exit of bad odors caused in urinals that do not use water. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
At present, the existence of water-free urinals, such as that described in patent document PCT / MX2001 / 000058, is well known. Said water-free ecological urinal, is constituted of a polycarbonate furniture filled with polyurethane foam, which makes it resistant and durable, and has an odor trap, which is composed of two cylinders, which are connected to each other , by means of a screw with thread, which allows the trap to be maintained when it is saturated by impurities. Also in patent document MX 261809 describes a trap retaining odors for water-free urinals, which is composed of a cylinder uncovered by its upper part, which carries inside, at its base, a copy with internal thread. It also has a cover, which is attached to the cylinder by means of a tube in the copy, through its external thread that goes to the lower end of said tube. When placing the cover to the cylinder a space of approximately 3 mm is left, between the walls of the cylinder and the cover, to allow the passage of liquids. The cylinder carries another smaller outlet at a distance of approximately 2 cm, from its upper part, where a 90 degree elbow is placed to introduce two tubes; one that goes inside the cylinder and the other that connects the drain to the trap. In order for the tube to be connected to the drain, a piece is added to increase the diameter of said tube, and properly connected and sealed with the drain tube. This trap is designed to contain a sealing liquid lighter than water, in the cylinder for much longer, because it has more space between the walls of the cylinder with the walls of the central tube, which causes the sealing liquid to spread forming a thinner layer, the which is much easier to be crossed by the fall of the urine, and thus it is not easily dragged to the drain.
The disadvantages of these urinals and retaining traps of bad odors is that they are made up of many components, in addition to the fact that they require water (albeit a small one) or a sealing liquid, to prevent the exit of odors. Due to this, an odor trap for urinals was developed, which does not require the use of any other sealant liquid, in addition to being made up of few elements.
DESCRIPCIÓN DETALLADA DE LA INVENCIÓN DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The characteristic details of the present invention are clearly shown in the following description and in the accompanying figures, which are mentioned by way of example and should not be considered as a limitation on the present invention.
Breve descripción de las figuras: Brief description of the figures:
Figure 1 is an explosive perspective view of the odor retaining trap of the present invention.
Figure 2 is a longitudinal section of the trap of the present invention, where the integration of its components is appreciated.
Figure 3 is a conventional perspective view of the cylinder, of the trap, where the modality of the cylinder closed by its lower part is appreciated, but with a small perforation.
Figure 4 is a conventional perspective view of Figure 3, where aggregation of a conductive tube of urine to the drain is seen. With reference to said figures, the odor retaining trap, for urinals free of water and other liquids, of the present invention, is constituted of a passed cylinder (1) in a horizontal position; inside which a funnel-shaped part (2) is placed, where the upper edges of said funnel-shaped part (2) are sealed with the walls of the past cylinder (1). In such a way that the funnel-shaped part (2) is completely complete inside the cylinder (1).
The funnel-shaped piece (2) is the one that covers the liquids that are introduced into the trap, such as urine, water, sealing liquids, etc. Said liquids pass through the lower perforation (4) of the piece (2) to continue its passage to the drain.
To cover the lower perforation (4) and to avoid that the bad odors that are generated inside the trap go outside, a light sphere (3) is placed inside the funnel-shaped piece (2), exactly over the lower hole (4) of said piece (2). The sphere (3) must be of a weight less than that of water, urine, or other liquid used in water-free urinals; so that when the urine reaches the bottom of the funnel-shaped piece (2), the sphere (3) rises and lets it pass, but when the urine finishes flowing, the sphere (3) falls on the bottom of the piece funnel (2) covering the lower hole (4) to prevent the exit of odors; due to this, the sphere (3) must have a size larger than the size of the lower perforation (4), so that it completely covers it.
The trap also comprises a cover (5) for closing the upper part (6) of the past cylinder (1), conventionally known in the state of the art.
One of the variants of the present invention is that the cylinder (1) is not passed, but that the majority of its lower part (7) is closed, but must have a perforation (8), for the liquids to flow. This is for when the present trap is placed directly to the potty cabinet, that is to say without any container in between and therefore, in the perforation (8) it must have means to place a tube (9) to channel the liquids to the drain . In this way we have an improved trap for urinals that do not use water which is very easy to build, since several accessories are not required, as is the case with conventional traps. Another advantage with this trap is that the urinals will no longer require, in addition to water, or sealant liquids, since due to its internal structure, the urine will go directly to the drain, and when it is maintained, it will be enough to remove the lid (5 ), and clean the funnel-shaped piece (2).
