Abstract

Dans un procédé de compression et de refroidissement d'air en amont d'une installation de séparation cryogénique d'air, sans moyen d'échange par chaleur indirect, on comprime de l'air humide dans un compresseur (3), on refroidit de l'air comprimé dans le compresseur dans un premier échangeur à échange de chaleur indirect, (13), on récupère de l'eau (11, 19) contenue dans l'air en amont et/ou en aval du refroidissement dans le premier échangeur, on envoie de l'air refroidi dans le premier échangeur dans une unité d'épuration (45) pour produire de l'air épuré en dioxyde de carbone et/ou en eau, on envoie l'air épuré vers l'installation de séparation cryogénique, on récupère au moins un gaz provenant de l'installation de séparation cryogénique, on mélange de l'eau récupérée avec le gaz provenant de l'installation, le mélange produit étant à une température supérieure à la température de solidification de l'eau dans le mélange et on réchauffe l'eau mélangée avec le gaz dans le premier échangeur.
