Detailed Description of the Invention The invention is a sharpening machine (5) consisting of a sharpening stone (3) connected to a driver mechanism (1) by means of a spindle (2).
The said sharpening machine (5) consists of a copy (6) and female table (7) providing obtaining position of sharpening stone (3) on the surface intended to be sharpened by means of sitting on the said copy (6) and providing linear motion along the surface so as to enable sharpening of the surfaces to be sharpened, on the machines where they are located.
From the sample of sharpening the planer blade (8), a process as described below will occur.
First of all, the copy (6) is fixed to the housing (11) where the blade is located by means of jaws (9) located on the ends and connection members. The said copy (6) consists of a set rail (12) provided on the copy (6). The sharpening machine (5) sits on the entire copy (6) together with female table (7) and thus it can move along blade (8) surface. The said female table (7) contains a space (13) formed for the purpose of reaching the surface of the sharpening stone (3) to be sharpened. A driver (14) is located on the female table (7). The said part is connected to the table (7) by means of a connection member also known as angle adjustment apparatus (4). The driver (14) is the part required for angle changes of the machine (5) and up- down (vertical) motion of the sharpening stone (3). Extensions (16) are located on the movement part (15) conducting vertical movement and extensions (18) are located on the connection cylinder ( 7) through which the part conducting sharpening and remaining parts of the machine are connected. The vertical movement part (15) is controlled by means of an adjustment arm (20) located on the driver (14).
As the sharpening place of the blade may change depending on the diameter of the roller, the adjustment is made by means of adjustment apparatus (4) coinciding the blade and the stone centers. One surface of it is fixed onto the table (7) and the other surface is fixed to the body of driver (14). The surface on the driver (14) is held by two connection members. After sliding at the desired angle on the angular channel (22) by loosening one of the said connection members (21), the connection member (21) is tightened again and the system is fixed. The connection cylinder (17) associated with the vertical movement part (15) provides connection of driving mechanism (1) and other parts of the machine. The cylinder (17) fixed to the driver (14) by the extensions (18) thereon keeps the spindle (2) fixing the sharpening stone (3) and the stone (3) to the driving mechanism (1) by
means of space (19) therein. The connection member (24) connecting the wings (23) to each other thereon fixes the cylinder (17) to the driving mechanism (1).
As a result, the channel (25) located on the female table (7) of the entirely mounted machine (5) sits into the set rail (12) located on the copy (6) and thus movement of the machine (5) along the surface of the blade (8) is provided. The sharpening operation is completed with the forward and backward movements,, provided angle and height adjustments. Height adjustment of the sharpening stone (3) also provides non-burning of the stone (3) and the blade (8) during sharpening and non-occurrence of non-usable case of the surfaces.
When the operation is completed, the copy jaws (9) is dismantled from the blade housing (1 ) and the machine where the blade (8) is used is rotated one tour back and forward and thus machining is provided. Thus sharpening of each blade (8) in the roller is provided.
The protection area of this application has been specified under claims and cannot be limited to the descriptions only given as sampling above. It is clear that any innovation can be provided by a person skilled in the related art by use of the similar embodiments and/or can also apply this embodiment in other areas for similar purposes used in the related art.
