Abstract

본 발명은 전기이중충커패시터(EDLC)를 사용하여 대기전력 손실을 최소화 할 수 있는 대기전력 저감장치를 제공하는데 있다. 이를 위해 본 발명은 교류전원을 사용하여 동작하는 전자기기 내의 대기전력 저감장치에 있어서, 상기 교류전원으로부터 공급받은 전기 에너지를 직류전원으로 변환하여 저장하는 전기이중층커패시터; 상기 전기이중층커패시터에 전기 에너지를 충전시키는 충전회로; 상기 전기이중층커패시터에 충전된 전기 에너지를 안정된 전압으로 바꾸는 전압변환회로; 상기 전기이중층커패시터의 충전전압을 검출하는 전압검출회로; 및 상기 전압검출회로의 명령에 따라 전원스위치를 온/오프하는 전원제어회로를 포함하고, 상기 전원제어회로는 상기 전기이중층커패시터에 충전된 전기 에너지를 사용하여 상기 전원스위치를 온/오프하는 것을 특징으로 하는 대기전력 저감장치를 개시한다.
