Abstract

주기율표 중 IVa, Va, 및 VIa족 금속으로부터 티타늄(Ti)을 포함하여 선택되는 둘 이상의 금속의 탄화물, 탄질화물, 또는 이들의 혼합물과, Ni, Co 및 Fe로 구성되는 그룹으로부터 선택되는 하나 이상의 금속을 포함하여 이루어지고 미세구조에 있어서 유심구조의 림과 결합상의 조성을 제어하여 계면 결합력이 강화된 것을 특징으로 하는 서멧트 소결체가 개시된다. 본 발명에 따르면, TiC계 또는 Ti(C,N)계 서멧트의 미세구조에 있어서 계면 결합력을 강화함으로써, 재료의 인성과 내마모성을 현저히 향상시키고 특성을 제어할 수 있다.
