Abstract

 従来のダイヤモンド焼結体より、さらに強度が高く、耐摩耗性に優れるダイヤモンド焼結体、およびその製造方法を提供する。  ダイヤモンド粒子、結合材および空孔を含むダイヤモンド焼結体であって、前記ダイヤモンド粒子の含有量は、80容量%以上、98容量%未満であり、前記結合材は、チタン、ジルコニウム、バナジウム、ニオブ、およびクロムからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種以上の元素、炭素およびタングステンを含む固溶体、並びに鉄族元素を含み、隣り合う前記ダイヤモンド粒子同士は互いに結合していることを特徴とするダイヤモンド焼結体、およびその製造方法。
