Abstract

 強度や耐摩耗性に優れた伸線ダイスを提供することを目的とする。伸線ダイスのコアとして、非ダイヤモンド型炭素物質を含む原料組成物を、超高圧高温下で焼結助剤や触媒の添加なしに直接的にダイヤモンドに変換焼結された、実質的にダイヤモンドのみからなる多結晶体であって、当該多結晶体が、最大粒径が100nm以下かつ平均粒径が50nm以下の微粒ダイヤモンド結晶と、最小粒径が50nm以上かつ最大粒径が10000nm以下の板状もしくは粒状の粗粒ダイヤモンド結晶との混合組織を有する高硬度ダイヤモンド多結晶体を用いたものとする。
