Abstract

　従来のダイヤモンド焼結体より、さらに硬度が高く、耐欠損性、耐摩耗性などの強度が優れたダイヤモンド焼結体を提供する。 　ダイヤモンド粒子と結合材を含むダイヤモンド焼結体であって、前記結合材は、チタン、ジルコニウム、バナジウム、ニオブ、およびクロムからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも１種以上の元素、炭素およびタングステンを含む固溶体、並びにコバルトに代表される鉄族元素を含み、隣り合う前記ダイヤモンド粒子同士は互いに結合していることを特徴とするダイヤモンド焼結体。
