Definitions

  • the present invention relates to an injection needle assembly and a drug injection device in which a needle hub is formed on a needle tube by insert molding.
  • an injection needle assembly is composed of a needle tube having a needle tip that can puncture a living body at a distal end portion, and a needle hub that holds the needle tube with the needle tip of the needle tube protruding.
  • the medicine injection device is configured by connecting a syringe to the needle hub.
  • the needle tube is fixed to the needle hub using an adhesive while being inserted into the insertion hole of the needle hub (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
  • the needle hub is integrally formed with the needle tube by insert molding while the needle tube is held by the chuck member.
  • the needle hub when the needle hub is formed into a needle tube by insert molding, it is necessary to hold the needle tube at the time of molding. Therefore, when the length of the needle tube protruding from the needle hub is very short, it is difficult to support and fix the needle tube with the chuck member at the time of injection molding or assembly. Even when the needle tube can be supported at both ends in the axial direction, if the needle tube is thin, the needle tube may be deformed or bent by the molding pressure generated during molding. As described above, the conventional injection needle assembly has a problem that the needle tube and the needle hub cannot be integrally formed by insert molding because the needle tube cannot be reliably supported and fixed by the chuck member. Abstract
