Abstract

본 발명은 이차 전지에 관한 것으로서, 제1 전극판, 제2 전극판, 및 세퍼레이터를 구비하는 전극 조립체; 전극 조립체와 함께 전해액이 수납되는 수납부를 가진 케이스를 구비하는 이차 전지에 있어서, 케이스를 관통하는 리드와 각각 연결되도록 제1 전극판에 연결된 제1 탭과 제2 전극판에 연결된 제2 탭 중 적어도 어느 하나의 탭의 폭방향으로 탭의 적어도 일측면에 소정 길이 인입 형성된 노치; 및 노치와 실질적으로 동일 선상의 탭의 폭방향으로 도포된 발포제를 구비한다.
