Abstract
The invention relates to a connecting element for electrical connection of an LED, which is arranged on a board which has contact areas for making contact with electrical conductors, wherein the connecting element has contacts which can be connected on the one hand to connecting cables and on the other hand to the contact areas, and having a light-transmissive cover covering the LED. Beispiel für solche Beleuchtungen sind Treppenstufenbeleuchtungen, Not- und richtungsweisende Beleuchtungen zum Kenntlichmachen von Rettungswegen aber auch in Fußböden eingelassene Leuchten zu dekorativen Zwecken. Darüber hinaus gewinnt die LED als Leuchtmittel zum Ersatz der herkömmlichen Raum- und
Gebäudeausleuchtung vermehrt Bedeutung. Leuchten unter Nutzung von auf einer Platine angeordneten LED's sind beispielsweise aus DE 10 2004 004 779 A1 oder US 7, 182,627 B1 bekannt. US 7,182,627 B1 offenbart eine LED-Leuchtenanordnung, die sich aus einer wärmeleitfähigen Grundplatte, einer Platine mit mehreren LED's und Kontaktfeldern, einer Fixierplatte, einer Reflektionsplatte und einer Abdeckung zusammensetzt. Die LED's werden hier jedoch aufwändig über Lötstellen mit den Kontaktfeldern der Platine verbunden. Zur Montage der erfindungsgemäßen LED-Leuchte müssen demnach nur zwei Bauteile auf einem Grund- oder Kühlkörper montiert werden, die Platine und die Abdeckung. Anschlusselement und Abdeckung bilden ein integriertes Bauteil. Die Kontakte sind direkt in die Abdeckung eingesetzt und werden gemeinsam mit dieser in einem Montageschritt auf die Platine aufgesetzt. Neben den verringerten Herstellungskosten bietet das erfindungsgemäße Anschlusselement deshalb einen ersichtlichen Vorteil hinsichtlich Montageaufwand und -zeit.
Die Herstellung und Montage der LED-Leuchten lässt sich weiter vereinfachen, wenn die in die Abdeckung integrierten Kontakte lötfrei mit den Anschlusskabeln verbindbar sind. Sie können erfindungsgemäß Kontaktklemmen ausbilden, in die die Anschlusskabel eingeführt werden. Derartige Kontakte ermöglichen es, gängige schraubenlose und lötfreie Anbindungstechniken zur Spannungsversorgung der LED zu nutzen. Die Anschlusskabeleinführöffnungen sind erfindungsgemäß aus dem Material der Abdeckung herausgeformt. Es müssen daher keine separaten Anschlusskabeleinführhilfen gefertigt und an der Abdeckung angebracht werden, so dass die Herstellungskosten in diesem Punkt minimal gehalten werden können.
Bevorzugt weist die Abdeckung in Montagerichtung zur Platine hin geöffnete Einsenkungen auf, in welche die Kontakte passgenau eingesetzt sind. Gemäß einer Ausführungsform der Erfindung ist es vorgesehen, die Kontakte so auszugestalten, dass sie Klemmfedern aufweisen, mit denen sie in den obigen Ausnehmungen verankert werden können. Im offenen Schnittbereich der Fig. 3 ist zudem ein teilweise abisoliertes Anschlusskabel 30 sichtbar, welches in die Anschlusskabeleinführöffnung 19 eingreift und mit seinem freien Ende über die Kontaktklemme 27 mit dem Kontakt 25 verbunden ist.
Die Kontaktfelder 13 kontaktierende Federelemente 31 sind jeweils an der der Platine 1 1 zugewandten Seite der Kontakte 25 angeordnet. Sie stellen einen lötfreien Kontakt zwischen Anschlusselement 15 und Platine 1 1 her. Durch die Darstellung im Anschnitt wird in dieser Figur deutlich, dass der Lichtaustrittsbereich 16 im Verhältnis zur Oberseite 17 in dem Raum hinein aufgewölbt ausgebildet ist. Der ausgeschnittene Bereich ist aus dem Kontakt 25 herausgebogen, so dass er in die Innenwand der Ausnehmung 29 eingreift und damit den Kontakt 25 in der Abdeckung 25 verankert. Das Federelement 31 ragt bogenförmig von dem Kontakt 25 aus in Richtung Platine 1 1 und kontaktiert mit dem freien Endbereich das Kontaktfeld 13.
