Abstract

Eine Schutzeinrichtung für galvanische Zellen (201, 202, 301, 302), die über mit Polanschlüssen (203, 204, 503, 504) dieser Zellen in geeigneter Weise verbundene Kontaktelemente (205, 207, 209, 212, 405, 409, 406, 407, 506, 507, 509, 606, 607, 706, 707, 709, 805, 806, 807, 809) zu einer Batterie zusammengeschaltet sind, kann einzelnen Zellen einer Batterie zugeordnet werden. Die Schutzeinrichtung verfügt über eine Aktivierungseinrichtung (1008, 1108, 1208, 1011, 1111) zu ihrer Aktivierung. Bei Aktivierung der Schutzeinrichtung, überbrückt diese Schutzeinrichtung die ihr zugeordnete Zelle durch eine Veränderung der Zusammenschaltung und nimmt sie so aus dem Batterieverbund elektrisch heraus. In der Aktivierungseinrichtung bewirkt vorzugsweise ein elektrisch leitendes oder isolierendes Bauelement aus einem Formgedächtnismaterial die Veränderung der Zusammenschaltung durch eine Änderung der Form dieses Bauelements, sobald und/oder solange die Temperatur dieses Bauelements außerhalb eines definierten Temperaturbereichs liegt.
