Abstract
The present invention relates to a system for moving a cart by using friction between a motor and a wheel to drive, stop and accelerate/decelerate the cart in a production line for cars of different models. The present invention is embodied in a new form of a cart moving system which has cart moving wheels/motors for moving a cart based on a direct contact-friction between the wheel and the bottom surface of the cart, wherein the cart moving wheels/motors are arranged intermittently on a cart travel path to move the cart to a main work area. Thus, the cart moving system of the invention can improve the drive efficiency associated with moving the cart, and among other things it enables the installation of a variety of car models in a relatively small space as well as the effective use of a layout area capable of easily adapting to different models or types of cars.
