Abstract

Bei einem Vergasungsreaktor zur Herstellung von CO- oder H2-haltigem Rohgas durch Vergasung von aschehaltigem Brennstoff mit sauerstoffhaltigem Gas bei Temperaturen oberhalb der Schmelztemperatur der Asche, wobei innerhalb eines Druckbehälters ein von einer kühlmediumdurchflossenen Membranwand gebildeter Reaktionsraum vorgesehen ist mit einem sich verjüngenden Übergangskanal in einen Gasabkühlraum, wobei im Übergangskanal drallvermindernde, gekühlte Schotten vorgesehen sind, soll eine Lösung geschaffen werden, mit der zum einen eine Strähnenbildung der ablaufenden Asche erreicht werden kann und zum anderen die Bereitstellung einer weiteren Schlackenabtropfkante, die für einen optimalen Schlackeablauf sorgt. Dies wird dadurch erreicht, dass die die Schotten (9) tragende Wand (14) unterhalb der Schotten über einen Absatz (21) mit gewellter Oberfläche in eine im Durchmesser verringerte Zylinderwand (17) übergeht, dass die im Durchmesser verringerte Zylinderwand (17) von einer im Durchmesser vergrößerten weiteren zylindrischen Wand (19) umgeben ist, die in Schwerkraftrichtung an ihrem Ende eine zweite Schlackenabtropfkante (10) bildet und dass die weitere zylindrische Wand (19) in ihrer vertikalen Position bezogen auf die erste Abtropfkante (18) verstellbar (Pfeil 22) angeordnet ist.
