Abstract
Zur Schaffung eines langzeitstabilen Schaumproduktes, insbesondere als Schaumauflage (20) in WC-Becken (11), wird vorgeschlagen, dass das Schaumprodukt 0,5 - 10 Gew.-%, insbesondere 7 - 9 Gew.-%, bevorzugt 8 Gew.-% eines schaumstabilisierenden Tensids, 0,5 - 20 Gew.-%, insbesondere 12 - 16 Gew.-%, bevorzugt 14 Gew.-% einer schäumenden reinigungsaktiven Substanz, 0 - 5 Gew.-%, insbesondere 0,5 Gew.-% eines Schaumstabilisators, 0 - 5 Gew.-%, insbesondere 0,5 Gew.-% pH-Regulanz, insbesondere Zitronensäuermonohydrat und 70 - 90 % Wasser enthält. Bevorzugt bleibt die mit dem Schaumprodukt gebildete, geruchshemmende Schaumauflage (20) im WC-Becken (11) zumindest 12 Stunden, insbesondere mehr als 24 Stunden stabil.

Schaumprodukt
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Schaumprodukt mit den Merkmalen des Anspruchs 1.
Die Privathaushalte verbrauchten im Jahre 2005 in Deutschland durchschnittlich 126 I Trinkwasser pro Tag, wovon allein 40 I für den Betrieb von WC-Spülungen verwendet wurden. Der Wasserverbrauch könnte v.a. im WC-Bereich am effektivsten dadurch gesenkt werden, dass die Toilettenspülung nicht nach jeder WC-Benutzung erfolgt. Nachteilig daran ist allerdings, dass dabei entweder durch den Eigengeruch der abgesetzten Exkremente oder aufgrund des bakteriellen Abbaus eine erhebliche Geruchsbelästigung in den WC- Räumen entsteht. Ein länger andauernder Spülverzicht ist somit ohne den zusätzlichen Einsatz geruchsbindender Chemikalien oder synthetischer Duftstoffe nicht zumutbar.
Die DE 20 23 133 schlägt daher vor, vor dem Ablegen der Exkremente mit einem
schaumbildenden Präparat in der Klosettschüssel ein Schaumkissen zu erzeugen. Dieses wird beim Betätigen der Wasserspülung zusammen mit den Exkrementen entfernt und hernach neu gebildet. Ebenfalls eine Schaumabdeckung der Klosettschüssel zeigt die WO 87/06289, wobei der Schaumteppich hier aus einen Mehrkomponentensystem besteht und erst bei Mischung der Komponenten in der Klosettschüssel gebildet wird und nach jedem Spülvorgang neu gebildet werden muss.
Nachteilig an den oben genannten Schäumen ist deren geringe Stabilität von 10 bis 40 Minuten, sodass ein längerer Spülverzicht mit den bekannten Schäumen nicht durchführbar ist.
Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung ist es daher, eine geruchshemmenden Schaumschicht zur Verfügung zu stellen, die kostengünstig und auf einfache Art und Weise hergestellt werden kann und die über einen langen Zeitraum stabil ist.
Die Aufgabe wird gelöst durch ein Schaumprodukt gemäß Anspruch 1. Vorteilhafte
Weiterbildungen der Erfindung sind Gegenstand der abhängigen Ansprüche.
Das erfindungsgemäße Schaumprodukt eignet sich insbesondere zur Bildung einer
Schaumauflage in WC-Becken, kann daneben allerdings auch als Sperrschicht in Abflüssen oder Siphons verwendet werden, um hier das Aufsteigen unangenehmer Gerüche zu unterbinden. Die Schaumauflage kann in Tief- und Flachspültoiletten sowie in Urinalen und Pissoirs oder als Alternative oder Ergänzung zu den üblicherweise in mobilen
Toilettenkabinen und Sanitärcontainern verwendeten Chemikalien verwendet werden.
Denkbar ist darüber hinaus die Verwendung der Schaumauflage als Sperrschicht und Geruchssperre in offenen Fäkalientanks oder auf Klärbecken.
Das Schaumprodukt besteht erfindungsgemäß aus 0,5 - 10 Gew.-%, insbesondere 7 - 9 Gew.-%, bevorzugt 8 Gew.-% eines Tensids, 0,5 - 20 Gew.-%, insbesondere 12 - 16 Gew.- %, bevorzugt 14 Gew.-% einer schäumenden reinigungsaktiven Substanz, 0 - 5 Gew.-%, insbesondere 0,5 Gew.-% eines Schaumstabilisators, 0 - 5 Gew.-%, insbesondere 0,5 Gew.- % pH-Regulanz, insbesondere Zitronensäuermonohydrat und wobei die Bestandteile in 70 - 90 % Wasser gelöst sind. Untersuchungen zur Langzeitstabilität ergaben, dass eine derartige Schaumauflage mit bevorzugt zwischen 5 und 25% des Schaumproduktes, für bis zu 24 Stunden stabil blieb und die geruchshemmende Wirkung aufrechterhielt.
Im Zusammenhang mit den Bestandteilen des Schaumproduktes wird es als günstig angesehen, wenn das Tensid Na-Cocoamphoacetat ist. Diese Substanz ist beispielsweise, unter der Handelsbezeichnung REWOTERIC® AM C bei Evonik Goldschmidt erhältlich und kann der Ausgangslösung des Schaumproduktes so in stets gleichbleibender Konzentration und Qualität beigemischt werden. Als schäumende Substanz wird vorteilhafterweise eine 20 - 70 %ige, bevorzugt eine 28 %ige Na-Laurylethersulfatlösung verwendet, die neben den schaumbildenden auch detergente und bakterizide Eigenschaften aufweist und somit beim und nach dem Schaumabbau einen Reinigungseffekt zeigt. In einer bevorzugten
Ausführungsform wird im Schaumprodukt als Schaumstabilisator niedrigmolekulares
Polysaccarid, insbesondere Hydroxypropyl-Methylcellulose verwendet. Diese Substanz ist beispielsweise unter dem Handelsnamen TEGOCEL® Fluid HPM 50 bei Evonik Goldschmidt erhältlich und begünstigt bereits bei geringen Konzentrationen die Schaumstabilität in niedrigviskosen Zusammensetzungen.
Das Schaumprodukt wird aus einem Gebinde in die WC-Schüssel oder den Abfluss bzw. einem sonstigen Verwendungsort verteilt. Als günstig wird hierbei angesehen, wenn als Gebinde eine treibgasfreier Spendebehälter mit Schaumventil vorgesehen ist. Hierdurch kann eine relativ umweltfreundliche Verwendung sichergestellt werden. Zudem eignen sich derartige Gebinde auch zur Wiederbefüllung, sodass die Möglichkeit besteht, die
Ausgangslösung, beispielsweise in Folienbeuteln als Konzentrat oder Fertigmischung anzubieten, die zu einer erheblichen Verringerung der anfallenden Abfallmenge beim
Verbraucher und herstellerseitig zu verringerten Verpackungskosten führen. Denkbar ist auch die dauerhafte oder austauschbare Anordnung eines Vorratsbehälters unmittelbar am Einsatzort, beispielsweise im Bereich der Toilettenspülung bzw. WC-Schüssel, aus dem das Schaumprodukt dann bedarfsweise oder kontinuierlich, beispielsweise in definierten
Zeitintervallen, abgegeben wird. Neben der obigen Möglichkeit sieht eine weitere günstige Ausführungsform der Erfindung vor, dass als Gebinde für das Schaumprodukt eine treibgas- oder druckluftbeaufschlagte Aerosoldose vorgesehen ist.
Neben den obigen Bestandteilen wird es als empfehlenswert angesehen, wenn das
Schaumprodukt einen variablen Anteil an Zusatzstoffen aufweist. Je nach
Verwendungszweck handelt es sich hierbei bevorzugt um Biozide, Desodorantien,
Konservierungsmittel, Hilfsmittel für den Abbau von Ablagerungen und/oder Farbstoffe. Durch den Zusatz von antibiotisch wirkenden Substanzen kann die Keimzahl im WC gesenkt werden. Daraus wird zum einen dem Hygienebedürfnis des Toilettenbenutzers entsprochen, zum anderen kann die Zahl der Bakterien, die für die Bildung unangenehmer Gerüche mitverantwortlich sind, reduziert werden. Zusätzlich können auch Algizide oder Fungizide zugesetzt werden. Um entweichende Gerüche wirkungsvoll zu kaschieren, können als Zusatzstoff Desodorantien beigemischt werden, die bei kontinuierlicher Abgabe einen angenehmen Geruch vermitteln. Als Desodorans eignet sich beispielsweise Chloramin T, das als Oxidationsmittel auch eine hohe bakterizide Wirksamkeit aufweist und zusätzlich als Desinfektionsmittel und Antiseptikum wirkt. Als weitere Zusatzstoffe können der
Zusammensetzung Farbstoffe hinzugefügt werden, um die Schaumauflage optisch aufzuwerten. So werden beispielsweise die Farben blau und gelb im Allgemeinen als besonders frisch empfunden und eine entsprechend gefärbte Schaumauflage besser von den Benutzern akzeptiert. Zusätzlich zu den bereits genannten Zusatz- und Hilfsstoffen können als weiterer Bestandteil Hilfsmittel für den Abbau von Ablagerungen wie Kalk oder Urinstein beigegeben werden.
Weitere Vorteile, Merkmale und Besonderheiten der Erfindung ergeben sich aus der nachfolgenden Beschreibung einer bevorzugten, jedoch nicht beschränkenden
Ausführungsform der Erfindung anhand der schematischen Zeichnung. Es zeigt:
Fig.1 eine bevorzugte Ausführungsform einer aus dem erfindungsgemäßen
Schaumprodukt gebildete Schaumauflage in einem WC-Becken.
Fig.1 zeigt das WC-Becken 11 einer Toilette 10. Die in Fig.1 dargestellte Toilette 10 funktioniert im Tiefspülprinzip, d.h. die Ausscheidungen fallen in das im WC-Becken 11 angestaute Toilettenwasser 15, das einen Siphon 13 füllt, der sich unter dem Beckenrand 14 befindet. Die Schaumauflage 20 schwimmt auf der Wasseroberfläche 12 des
Toilettenwassers 15. Ausscheidungen fallen durch die Schaumauflage 20 in das WC-Becken 1 1 , werden dann vom darunter liegenden Toilettenwasser 15 aufgenommen. Bei der Abgabe von Urin durchdringt dieser die Schaumauflage 20 und gelangt so ebenfalls in das
Toilettenwasser 15 und wird dort verdünnt. Trotz des Verdünnungseffektes würde ohne Spülvorgang sehr bald eine Geruchsemission aus dem WC-Becken 1 1 stattfinden. Aufgrund der Schaumauflage 20 kann diese Geruchsbelästigung allerdings über einen langen
Zeitraum und über mehrere Toilettenbenutzungen hinweg unterbunden werden, ohne dass ein Spülvorgang notwendig wird. Aufgrund der zum Schaumprodukt beigemischten
Duftstoffe, herrscht zudem ein angenehmes Raumklima, so dass auch nach längerer Zeit kein Anreiz besteht, die Toilettenspülung zu betätigen.
Weitere Verursacher von unangenehmen Gerüchen sind Urintröpfchen, die beim Auftreffen des Urinstrahls auf der Innenwand 17 des WC-Beckens 11 oder der Wasseroberfläche 12 in Toiletten 10 ohne Schaumauflage 20 spritzen. Diese Tröpfchen werden durch die
Schaumauflage 20 weitestgehend aufgenommen und eine Geruchsbildung wirksam unterbunden. Da diese u. U. mit Keimen belasteten Spritzer durch die Schaumauflage 20 unterbunden werden, sind Toiletten 10 mit Schaumauflage 20 für den Benutzer wesentlich hygienischer.
Wird die Wasserspülung benutzt, wird die Schaumauflage 20 teilweise zersetzt und muss erneuert werden. Gleiches kann aufgrund des sich allmählich ändernden pH-Wertes oder der Auflösung der Schaumauflage 20 im Toilettenwasser 15 erfolgen. Aufgrund der
erfindungsgemäßen Zusammensetzung der Schaumauflage 20 erfolgt der vollständige
chemische Abbau jedoch erst ca. 24 Stunden nach der Bildung. Danach wird die Schaumauflage 20 aus dem gebrauchsfertig verdünnten Schaumprodukt, dass in einem treibgasfreien Spendebehälter mit Schaumventil oder einem treibgas- oder
druckluftbeaufschlagte Aerosoldose bevorratet ist, neu gebildet.
Die Schaumauflage 20 kann selbstverständlich auch in Flachspültoiletten, in Urinalen, Pissoirs, in Abflüssen oder als umweltfreundliche Alternative zu entsprechenden Chemikalien in mobilen Toilettenkabinen und Sanitärcontainern verwendet werden.

Claims
1. Schaumprodukt, insbesondere als Schaumauflage (20) in WC-Becken (11),
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Schaumprodukt
0,5 - 10 Gew.-%, insbesondere 7 - 9 Gew.-%, bevorzugt 8 Gew.-% eines
schaumstabilisierenden Tensids,
0,5 - 20 Gew.-%, insbesondere 12 - 16 Gew.-%, bevorzugt 14 Gew.-% einer schäumenden reinigungsaktiven Substanz,
0 - 5 Gew.-%, insbesondere 0,5 Gew.-% eines Schaumstabilisators,
0 - 5 Gew.-%, insbesondere 0,5 Gew.-% pH-Regulanz, insbesondere
Zitronensäuermonohydrat und
70 - 90 % Wasser enthält.
2. Schaumprodukt nach Anspruch 1 , dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
das Tensid Na-Cocoamphoacetat, insbesondere Na-Cocoamphomonoacetat, vorzugsweise REWOTERIC® AM C ist.
3. Schaumprodukt nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
die schäumende Substanz eine 20 - 70 %ige, bevorzugt 28 %ige Lösung von Na- Laurylethersulfat mit einem Ethoxylierungsgrad von 1 bis 5 EO, insbesondere 2 - 3 ist.
4. Schaumprodukt nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Schaumstabilisator ein niedermolekulares Polysaccarid, insbesondere
Hydroxypropyl-Methylcellulose, bevorzugt TEGOCEL® Fluid HPM 50 ist.
5. Schaumprodukt nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass als Gebinde für das Schaumprodukt eine treibgasfreier Spendebehälter mit
Schaumventil vorgesehen ist.
6. Schaumprodukt nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass als Gebinde für das Schaumprodukt eine treibgas- oder druckluftbeaufschlagte Aerosoldose vorgesehen ist.
7. Schaumprodukt nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Schaumprodukt Biozide, Desodorantien, Konservierungsmittel und/oder Farbstoffe als Zusatzstoffe enthält.
8. Schaumprodukt nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das eine Gebrauchsverdünnung zwischen 2 und 50 %, insbesondere 5 bis 25% des Schaumproduktes enthält.
9. Schaumprodukt nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass eine mit dem Schaumprodukt gebildete Schaumauflage (20) zumindest 12 Stunden, insbesondere mehr als 24 Stunden stabil ist.
